I found this to be a very disappointing product! A collection of freeware/shareware/trial programs that are available for download at no cost. The only decent programs on the disc were trial versions that will require additional payment to be used beyond a short trial period.

This software package is a rehash of the most readily available freeware, but, more disappointing, it's primarily trials of software that need to be bought! It's just another laborious step to get you to the site where you can purchase stuff...this is a definite bait and switch...shame on you, Amazon, for promoting this item!

I still do not understand why some customer said it's great and they are full programs. This one just is a collection of sharewares and freewares you can find elsewhere on the internet. Even worse, they both are outdated. I don't want to collect too much junk in my home and PDA. So look around for more solid and newest programs.

I purchased 50 power programs for pocket PC ... . I am very glad I did not have to pay for this software, as almost all of the programs are free/share ware available on the internet. There are some nice programs, and if you have a slow internet connection, getting this will save some download time, otherwise search around ... and download the Poctet PC software that appeals to you.

A word of warning - it appears as many of the programs will not work on any older PPC (ie, Casiopeia, HP 500 series) besides the Compaq iPAQ.

50 Power Programs for the Pocket PC is exactly what it sounds like: 50 full applications with no hidden shareware costs, or anything else that tries to squeeze more money out of you. Very simple to pick which applications you want to use, and just as quick and easy to download them onto your Pocket PC! An all around great software title, for a low price.
