POORLY MADE EARRINGS/False Advertisment of Product., October 30, 2009
This review is from: .50 Ct Princess Cut C.Z. Diamond Stud Earrings Bridal Silver Jewelry (Special Sale)
The stones are just average. They cheaped out on the setting. I purchased these based on the photo which isn't accurate. The posts are not centered as photographed. They're attached superior and lateral and in a way the basket is sitting slightly crooked, the metal is thin and cheap looking. They are set "on point"..undesirable setting for these tiny earrings. THESE ARE NOT THE EARRINGS IN THE PHOTO. The prongs tips could be thicker and rounded, as photographed. They have long posts, accurately photographed. One of the post is soldered on badly.
Also, they have "925" stamped on one side of the setting and "CZ" stamped on the entire other side, on both earrings. It's done really tacky and noticeable to the naked eye. Each side that is stamped has no rhodium. Those areas tarnish quickly and the metal looks mismatched. On each earring, two sides of the setting looks like unfinished silver and the other two sides have a little finish. It's not attractive. Steer clear if you have silver allergies, you'll probably have a reaction.
In the photo, they look like really well made little earrings, but they're not. What you see is not what you get. Actually, you can get a comparable pair at your local Beauty Supply store for 4.99. Why spend the extra money? You aren't getting anything extra. You can find these type of earrings, for less than 1/4 of their asking price, plus delivery charges. I won't bother returning them. I just won't purchase from this seller again and I do shop. Amazon can vouch for that.
For jewelry, Bridal or otherwise, I highly recommend the seller, Peora and the Amazon.com, Platinum Overlay Jewelry Collection. You'll get all around, excellent quality, for very reasonable prices.
