This book is laugh-out-loud funny! The prose really captures the storytelling tradition that I loved about my dad who was also in the Army. The short stories are great for taking along with you to the doctor's office, especially when you need a laugh.

I got such a kick out of reading these stories from the heart! What a great storyteller! I especially like how each chapter starts with a universal introduction. I'm thinking: I've been there! Really great read!

I loved the snapshot of this guy's life. He seems so interesting! Even though we have little in common, I really related to his story on many levels. Great book!

This book was written by my husband's nephew, so it is very special to me and my family. Fun to share.
