I gave this humidor as a gift, and he loved it. The quality is nice, the glass cover is an attractive element, but the hydrometer does not work.

This is my first humidor. As far as appearance, it looks great, nice and elegant. The wood smells great and looks like good quality. I'm having a hard time seasoning it but that could just be due to inexperience. Overall it's a good first humidor buy.

The box itself is very nice but like other reviews I agree the hrygrometer does not work. Still overall it is not a bad price for what you get.

this item is great and it looks great. However the problem about the hygrometer is not the problem like most are saying in this review. The main problem i have solved is that the crystal humidifier that it comes with is not good enough for the humidore. You need another humidifier in inside it to get optimum humidity. I added the gel humidifier inside with the one it came with and by the next day when i checked it it had exactly 70% humidity on the hygrometer.

I bought this product and its looks great. The outer finish is clean and elegant. However, the hygrometer didn't worked. I solved the problem very instantly because i purchased a digital hygrometer with the order. I just placed it in and that was it. I reached my humidity level, now all that's left is smoking one to see the results.

I strongly suggest you buy a digital hygromter with most of your humidors.

... it's really 4.5 stars to be exact. Quality, appearance, and value wise, this is actually easily a 5 star humidor. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the humidor arrived with a small chip in one of the corners. I thought about exchanging it for another one, but didn't want to risk the replacement not getting to me in time (it was purchased as a Christmas present), so I decided I'd let my boyfriend, the recipient, decide whether it was worth the hassel of exchanging it once I'd given it to him. Well, he loved it, chip and all, and decided to just keep it (it helped that we were able to cover up (for the most part, anyway) the chip by filling it in with a permanent marker) :) Chip aside, this really is a great humidor (when used with a good quality humidifier gel - not sure about the humidifier thing it came with). It does its job of keeping the humidity at a perfect 70-72% (it's also really nice having the hygrometer on the outside so you don't have to open the humidor to check the humidity), it's simply beautiful to look at, and the price really can't be beat. I would recommend it.

Buying my first humidor I was looking for something nice, but also something to learn with. This humidor looks nice, but the hydrometer doesn't work. I suggest buying a digital hydrometer with it. The instructions say to season the humidor put a shot glass of distilled water inside. I don't trust that method. Overall I like this humidor, but give yourself some time to get everything adjusted just right. BUY A DIGITAL HYDROMETER AND SOME TYPE OF HUMIDIFICATION WHEN PURCHASING. If this product didn't look as nice as it does I would give it a 2.

This is my second Humidor and I can definitely say that this is a great buy. For the $30.00 price tag, you get a really good quality made Humidor. I've owned it for quite a few months now and it still works & looks great.

This is a great little humidor!

First it arrived way ahead of schedule and that was a big plus.

I've read a couple of reviews saying the hygrometer on this box is magnetically attached, does not seal properly, etc. I think they may have updated the box.

I have to say the hygrometer is solidly screwed in, and it is accurate and good quality, not the piece of junk described.

The color is exactly the same as the picture.

The quality of the box is tops, I really was expecting something on the cheap end but this box is really something, it's heavy and very solidly built.

I have only one thing to say about it: GET IT!

A very nice humidor for a very nice price! My husband is an occasional smoker(only when he drinks), and we walked into at least 4 different cigar shops looking for a nice, reasonably priced one with no luck. They were either too big, waaay too expensive, or were too plain. I found this one just in time for Christmas and luckily, his picky butt LOVES it. I will say that the wood is better quality than the picture makes it seem though. Get it!
