I had never heard of this book until recently and then I had to have it. I ordered the cheap one $8 thinking even if it was written in, bent, or scuffed, it would still be readable. It showed up in perfect condition and the book is currently my favorite Peanuts related book.

This Wonderful 200 Page Book is available through The Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, Ca. It is an informative guide into the World of "Peanuts". Chapters included herein; "A Who's Who" {A Brief description of every named character who ever appeared in the strip}. "The Lost Episodes" (strips that were never reproduced in the Book Series}. The Peanuts: TV Specials and Movies, A Peanuts: Year by Year, Timeline of Significant Events. A Spotlight about the Life and Music of Vince Guaraldi is very welcome, As well as 10 Pages devoted to 50 Years of Peanuts Merchandising.

"The Beaglefest Story", is about a group of Peanuts Collectors that traveled to Santa Rosa, every year and put on a dinner for Mr, Schulz. A Feature is included concerning Schultz's involvement in The National D-Day Memorial Foundation. Many Chapters on Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty are quite interesting {How many times DID Lucy hold that football?}.

The Graphics are Excellent, as this Book is packed with Original Drawings that you will not find anywhere else, and Ton's of Color and Black and White Photographs. In closing, if you are a Fan of Peanuts and Charles M. Schulz, this Book is a Must, and is a Great Companion to the "Peanuts Complete" Series Books.

I Purchased my copy at The Charles M. Schulz Musueum in 2006, you should contact them to see if it is still available. If you can obtain this Book...BUY IT !!! It is a very Good Source of all things "Peanuts".
