Sean Farrell says:
Why is this $10 more than every other 3DS game?

Because Capcom is a shell of its former self and seems to do everything wrong these days.

I tihnk they are bundling this game with the circle pad pro, thus it is more expensive.

I saw the price and that' the first thing I thought too. Since there doesnt seem to be a separate listing and the price was 39.99, I wonder if the preorder price guarantee will cover the bundle? Or maybe theyll take down this listing and create an alternate

Hopefully the circle pad slider will be usable in conjunction with the Nyko Power Pak+.

Posted on Oct 29, 2011 9:45:12 AM PDT
If circle pad is not included, I am not buying.

They should mention in the ad that they're bundling it with the circle pad. We pre-ordered this on whim when it was 39.99 and haven't had an email about the bundle. I know pre-order price gurantee has always held up so far.

i was surprised when gamestop said it was $50. i came back & ordered it from amazon in my quick pics for $37.99. it then went up to $50 here, but now back to normal price. what is up with that? the GS manager says the slide pad extension isn't in their system, so it can't be preordered & isn't part of a bundle. this is for the game only. more craziness from capcom.

@twztid13

If that is the case, I might just buy it here. I typically go to GS to buy games, since the one I go to, is a competent one, via, they know about video games and stuff.
If this is not bundled with the 2nd analog, what is crapcom thinking?!

well, right now its $39.99... back to normal may be?

I preordered it here and on GS(to get the free case) and its gone up and down on both websites. I think if you preorder there is a price guarantee that you won't pay more than the preorder price. Seems like everytime theres a new announcement about this game the price goes haywire. The new preview shows that you have co-op mode with this game, yay!

Since it went back down to $39.99 I preordered it. That way if it does go back up to $50 I'm safe. I have faith that this game is going to be awesome (even though Mercenaries 3D, while good, was still disappointing). If not.. well, there's plenty of time to cancel the preorder.

This game cartridge is a 4 GB card instead of the 3DS's usual 2 GB. Thus it's more money.

This will NOT be bundled with the Circle Pad

Posted on Nov 2, 2011 8:59:49 AM PDT
It's 39.99 right now

Posted on Nov 2, 2011 11:20:54 AM PDT
Game is $10 more because it is being shipped on a 4GB card, not the typical 2GB card.

it is still a steal from crapcom, some wii games (like super smash bros brawl) came in a dual layer disc, and nintendo didn´t charge it more, crapcom is just trying to be more crapcom, the price is not justyfied..

The game size is lager than the rest of 3ds games.
Meaning better graphics and more content.

@Allan Cruz G
you are correct.

Also guys/gals, don't forget Metal Gear Solid 3:3D has 20+ hours of gameplay & is also on a 4G cart too, but it is only $40. Vita games are only $40, so why the price hike? If anything, the Vita is more powerful than the 3DS, so does this mean Crapcom's Vita games will cost $60? Also, if they said, "It is a console experience on a handheld", can we get a "Handheld experience on a console", lol. I wouldn't mind buying new AAA console games for only $30 to $40

Joshrocker says:
It doesn't look like it will include the circle pad, if it did I'd be happy to pay $50. If not, then I've preordered it and will stick with the normal $40 price.

Kind of silly on Capcoms part since they actually have quite a bit of attention with this game and could bring a lot of positive attention back to them.

we shouldnt but this game will define if people will risk making good games like this in the future. i myself preordered on amazon sooo i wont b@#! and moan about the price.im sure it will top the best games on a handheld.

Me too. If It wasn't for Amazon's $10 price difference, I wouldn't even be buying this game.
