Vincent F. Hendricks holds two doctoral degrees (dr. phil and PhD) in philosophy. He is author and/or editor of numerous books and articles on epistemology, logic and methodology. Among other things, he is the editor-in-chief of Synthese and Synthese Library, the highly regarded international journal and book series on philosophy.

He is the author of many books, among them Mainstream and Formal Epistemology (Cambridge University Press, 2007) Thought2Talk (Automatic Press / VIP, 2007), The Convergence of Scientific Knowledge (Springer, 2001). He is also the author and editor of numerous papers and books on formal epistemology, methodology and logic. Hendricks is editor-in-Chief of Synthese and Synthese Library.
