Truly a little treasure, this wonderful book includes a beautiful photo with every recipe. Spanning the globe, this is not just a has-been collection of 'old-time favorites' but an imaginative and innovative gathering of - really neat stuff! Sensitive to the way we cook, shop and serve today, the author occasionally includes tips for storing leftover ingredients (like anchovies), preparing an luscious accompaniment (toasted pamesan bagguette) and more. Most recipes serve 4 or 4-6 but they can easily be doubled when needed. Brief, but clear instructions in a consistent format make it top-notch for an experienced cook.
