Book Description

September 1, 2002
What ferret owner hasn't wondered what goes on inside their ferret's furry little head? You know they're thinking something. Finally, here's a collection of ferret wit, humor, wisdom, and advice that every ferret owner will appreciate. Straight from the ferret's mouth:

#47. Never say "quit!"
#245. The longer you hold a ferret, the better life becomes.
#350. I have no idea how this electrical cord got in my mouth.
#487. Of course I use my litter box -- I slept in it just last night!

This 160-page book features all kinds of ferrety thoughts and ideas, along with a bunch of photographs of ferrets in action.

Whether you have one ferret or one hundred, you'll enjoy reading 500 Things My Ferret Told Me again and again -- it's a must-have treasure for every ferret lover!

I received this book as a gift, so the price was never really an issue; however, I very much enjoyed the book. The only reason I didn't score it with Five Stars was because of the redudancy of photos and sometimes ideas. What was funny the first time, becomes just another nod the second round. Overall, the book was entertaining for myself as a new ferret owner, and my family as ferret-relatives lol - Its not too serious - but then I'd hope whoever purchases it understands that ferrets didn't really talk to the author - its just entertainment, so sit back and enjoy it!

It's like my feret was actually talking to me! This book is very funny and I keep reading it over and over again! It cheers me up when I feel down. Even my grandmother (who doesn't really like ferrets) got a kick out of it. I would highly recommend this book for everyone!

4.0 out of 5 stars It could have only been better if my ferret wrote it!, December 9, 2002

This humorous book takes a ferret's view of the world and presents it to us humans as only they can. Anyone who owns ferrets will fully understand and hopefully share in the laughter from the explanations given for why ferrets do the things they do. Who knew that ferrets had such a terrific comedic sense. We can only hope they don't band together and take their act on the road.

Personally, I find this book to be quite entertaining for young and old alike. With so many serious topics going on in the world today, it's nice to find a simple book out there that can take your mind away from it all for a few moments.
