I enjoyed it!,

This review is from: 500 Things My Ferret Told Me (Paperback)
I received this book as a gift, so the price was never really an issue; however, I very much enjoyed the book. The only reason I didn't score it with Five Stars was because of the redudancy of photos and sometimes ideas. What was funny the first time, becomes just another nod the second round. Overall, the book was entertaining for myself as a new ferret owner, and my family as ferret-relatives lol - Its not too serious - but then I'd hope whoever purchases it understands that ferrets didn't really talk to the author - its just entertainment, so sit back and enjoy it!

It's like my feret was actually talking to me! This book is very funny and I keep reading it over and over again! It cheers me up when I feel down. Even my grandmother (who doesn't really like ferrets) got a kick out of it. I would highly recommend this book for everyone!

It could have only been better if my ferret wrote it!,

This humorous book takes a ferret's view of the world and presents it to us humans as only they can. Anyone who owns ferrets will fully understand and hopefully share in the laughter from the explanations given for why ferrets do the things they do. Who knew that ferrets had such a terrific comedic sense. We can only hope they don't band together and take their act on the road. Personally, I find this book to be quite entertaining for young and old alike. With so many serious topics going on in the world today, it's nice to find a simple book out there that can take your mind away from it all for a few moments.

Hilariously Accurate,

It is the perfect representation of the ferret mind. With each page, all I could do was laugh, smile, and nod my head as at least one of my three ferrets have been there, done that, and thought that. I lent the book to a ferret-less friend who has visited and petsitted our critters, and she said she loved it. She kept wanting to read it but had to take it in small doses as her face and gut hurt from laughing so hard. This book is a definited must-enjoy, and more than worth its weight in fuzzy gold.

This lady knows ferrets!,

This book is hilarious! If you own ferrets like I do, you would be amazed at how true it is. You'll have tears from laughing so hard! About what another reviewer said - I've been on the magazine list for years, and I've never gotten any animal related junk mail. I think she may be mistaken. Anyway - if you like ferrets or know someone who does - get this book!

WOW...i think that says it all.,

'The longer you hold a ferret, the better life becomes...' hhow true that is. Of course being a veteran ferret owner myself i have long known that they can talk but that one has now written a book all by itself, just amazing. i wonder did it word process or hand write it? the endless mystery that is ferrets lives on in my heart. If a measure of a man was the adequacy of his ferret then i would be a happy man, and a happy man i am, especially with this piece of literature...fine literature. It features all the powerful atmosphere typical of J.R.R. Tolkien blending with character development to rival George Eliot. Ferretarama.

You can learn quite a bit about a ferret by reading this book. Their charming little (or should I say big) personalities shine through on every page. It was fun and I'm glad I got it. Every ferret owner can't help but smile as they read about the little guy's antics.
Loved it!

LOts of fun, if you love the little guys and have been around any ferrets just for 1 day. You will see what this book is all about. It's so true, and I high-lighted my favs already. There is however a lot of repitive statements with an added word or so. But other then that it loads of fun and I really enjoyed this book, when a book makes you wince with tears of happiness because yr laughing so hard, it's a good book.
