I agree that these weren't as soft as I expected. Still the most comfortable sheet I've owned that haven't genertated little fuzzy pills after a couple of washes though. Be warned, the parchment color is beautiful, but very hard to match to any other ivory. I argree they're getting better with age.

These are good sheets, very soft and nice. I was a little disappointed because it seems that my 300 thread count are softer but maybe the 500's need to be washed a bunch of times. I have washed them 3 times already but still not as nice as I would have expected, but very good for the $$$.

This is the highest thread count I've bought so far, and I am pretty pleased with them. They definitely get softer each time they're washed, and I love the color (parchment). If I could think of anything negative I would say that they wrinkle very easily.

Great Sheets, especially for the price. They have a nice sheen to them, but not quite satin. I thought they would be a tad softer for being 500 thread count, but I still like them overall and would reccommend them!

The color is beautiful and as noted in other reviews, they do get softer with each wash. In my experience, the wrinkles can be allievated with adding softener to the wash and not over drying. They are worth the money.

the 500TC sheet set is very nice. very smooth, slick the only thing I don't like about it is the sheets wrinkle very easly. Also when you take them out of the drier they look like an old lady w/ all the wrinkles. Also the Parchment color is very nice it's almost gold and looks a lot better than a white sheet I would definatly get another set when this one wears out.

Nice sheets are a bit of a vice for me, and I've become habitualized to high thread counts. At 500 tc, I was not expecting the sheets to be as sooth and soft as they are. They have been washed twice and are consistently proving to be very good quality bedding, with no evidence of pilling. The parchment colour is very interesting - sort of a gray taupe - blends well with autumn colours and darker colours. I would highly recommend.

Maybe I haven't owned these sheets long enough (it sounds as if they get better over time), but I was a little disappointed. For 500 thread count, they felt similar to my 200 bed-in-a-bag set. They have a slightly papery texture, even after a couple washings. I do love the color, so i guess I'll keep throwing them in the wash and cross my fingers.
