5.0 out of 5 stars Shaved strokes off my game
This book mentions every single thing that you really shouldn't do with your golf game. Not just jokes in here, but real tips that you've heard from players and pros alike.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wow, just wow
This book is awful. I can't believe Amazon allowed one reviewer to consistently rate it 5 stars over several months and blatantly promote it as such.

Did the same person write all te other reviews perhaps?

This book is a huge waste of money. It is so terribly simplistic I cannot even say it is funny at any time. The author must really be a poor writer and certainy is not very creative. What a waste of my time. Too bad.

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is terrible - the 5 star reviews are fixed by one person, July 11, 2010
Do yourself a favor. Read all of the non-5 star reviews here. Those are the genuine ones.

All of the 5 star are from the same "A Customer" and obviously the same "customer" (author?).

Save your money and get a better book with golf humor.

This book is a lot of laughs. The author obviously has made or witnessed alot of questionable golf shots, and heard the words of wisdom that usually follow them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book of golf humor - Hilarious, March 19, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: 501 Excuses for a Bad Golf Shot (Paperback)
This is an excellent book of golf humor. It covers all aspects of humor heard on the golf course. I laughed at the excuses and saw myself and my friends throughout the book. It is the type of book that you can sit down and read or pick up and browse. If you love golf you will love this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars FOR THOSE GOLFERS WHO CAN LAUGH AT THEMSELVES, August 28, 2011
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Not all golfers can laugh at their own antics but they all have them. This book is filled with rip-roaring belly laughs! I am sure that you will find several that you can relate to -- either of your best golfing buddy (or yourself). A great gift for those avid golfers to remember there is life off the greens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun if You're a Golfer or Not, March 10, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: 501 Excuses for a Bad Golf Shot (Paperback)
I laughed my head off when I read this little book. I just couldn't put it down even though I had other things to do that "seemed" more important. Think of the possibilities: birthdays, Boss' Day, Father's Day. Makes a great gift for any golfer on your list, male or female.
