For sunset fans, or anyone who hates sudden change, this socket screws into a standard sized light socket and dims an incandescent bulb (up to 150W) slowly from high, to medium, to low, and then off, over a period of thirty minutes. pretty cool but adds a lot of height to the bulb. So this will only fit in a lamp with a large lampshade wand, or a naked bulb, with a metal socket. Or perhaps a normal lamp with a short bulb. You get the idea.
