5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!
When I first saw this shirt, I fell in love with it. It's cute and vintage. I bought a 1X and it did run a little small, but I'm over it. I've already worn it and It's one of my favorite blouses already.

1.0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE Shirt. DO NOT BUY!
Firstly, the other reviews are clearly not for this item- this item is obviously a top, not a dress. It looks like the company just had their employees cut and paste reviews for their items just to make them look better. Here's a real review for this item:

1.0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE Shirt. DO NOT BUY!, September 5, 2008

Firstly, the other reviews are clearly not for this item- this item is obviously a top, not a dress. It looks like the company just had their employees cut and paste reviews for their items just to make them look better. Here's a real review for this item:

IT SUCKS!

The shipping was very fast (Faster than Amazon expected), however upon opening the bag, there was (and yes I counted), over 20 loose threads on the shirt, between edges of stitching, button threads coming off on EVERY SINGLE BUTTON, and the sash around the shirt just wouldn't cooperate at all. The bottom part of the shirt doesn't lay flat at all or flare in that sexy 50's fashion, it just bunches up and kind of makes you look pregnant. I wore it out to try to find a white skirt to go with it, and I literally saw people pointing and laughing. It looks REDICULOUS. I know the photos are cute and all, but upon arrival, it is NOTHING like the cut shown, esp. not if you're even remotely a larger girl. I'm so disappointed. :(

Oh and by the way- Want to return it for a full refund? NO WAY! Not only will they not do a full refund (they subtract shipping and only send you the item cost back), but they expect YOU to pay for the shipping, basically twice! This isn't even worth re-selling elsewhere, I'd hate to subject anyone else to this. Maybe I'll give it to some homeless person.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lost shape after one wash, May 22, 2009
This review is from: 50's Rockabilly Polka Dot Top JR Plus Size (Apparel)
This product is a shirt not a dress as you can clearly see. It's so cute the first time you wear it. That's if you can get into it. It runs very small. I would say two sizes. After one wash it lost most to all of it's shape. It had to be hard starch ironed or dry cleaned. I gave up and it went in the trash

1.0 out of 5 stars Warning -- DON'T BUY!, March 24, 2010
This review is from: 50's Rockabilly Polka Dot Top JR Plus Size (Apparel)
I am a 27-year-old mother of two and have been a plus sized woman my entire adult life. It is so difficult to find youthful, trendy plus sized clothing. I saw this shirt and just loved it's style.

When it arrived, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. First, the picture flatters it VERY much. The material is so thin and cheesy that if you don't want people seeing everything underneath, you better wear a camisole. I know with junior plus you generally have to buy at least one size larger than you normally wear. I am a 2x and decided, for safety's sake, to purchase it in a 4x. Well, there is absolutely no way under the sun that this shirt is a 4x unless it was put in a hot dryer for a long time and shrunk. It runs incredibly short (though the picture makes it look longer) and I couldn't get it closed around my chest or stomach, which was humiliating. It probably would have fit me wonderfully ten years ago when I was a size 12 (which I'm obviously not anymore).

And it's not worth sending back either because the company makes you pay to ship it back and won't refund you what you initially paid in shipping. I packed it away, hoping I'll lose enough weight to be able to wear it once so I don't feel like I wasted my money.

I am a size six so I got the small. I couldn't get it buttoned. It was also very short and should have been labeled petite. Cheap fabric.

1.0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE, January 3, 2011
This review is from: 50's Rockabilly Polka Dot Top JR Plus Size (Apparel)
DO NOT ORDER. Not true to size a XL is more like a M and the material is ridiculous. If could give no stars I would. Shipping was fast enough, but return policy SUCKS. I have to pay shipping BOTH ways. I am still returning it because i don't even want the shirt around, it's of absolutely no use. I would not give as a gift as I would be embarrassed.

BTW, 1/2 of other reviews are not even for THIS product, what a hoax. I do not blam Amazon, everything I ever ordered has been awesome.

2.0 out of 5 stars Looks cute on a hanger, September 6, 2009
This shirt does not fit well. The size does run small, and the shirt does make you look pregnant or like you have a little belly even if your tummy is flat, so I would imagine that it accentuates anything you'd want to camouflage if you are concerned about that area. The white tie never behaved for me, either. I ended up giving it to Good Will after trying it on once and seeing that it wouldn't work out. Too bad, because it really looks adorable in the picture.

3.0 out of 5 stars it's a cute top, January 22, 2012
While I like the top, just a warning, it runs small. I had to send it back and order TWO sizes bigger than what I had originally ordered....and even with the bigger size the bust is a bit tight.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cute but..., December 8, 2011

I like the look of this, but, unfortunately, the quality was sadly lacking. If it wasn't such a hassle and an additional cost to send it back, I would have. I will not buy this brand again.

1.0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE sizing! WAYYY too small., December 2, 2011
This review is from: 50's Rockabilly Polka Dot Top JR Plus Size (Apparel)
First, this shirt is made of the thinnest, cheapest fabric I've ever seen. It feels like it would rip right in half if you pulled hard. It's also very short. Lastly, the sizing is WAY out of whack. I ordered a 2X and it fit more like a size 8. Seriously, they need to update their sizing guide because it is widly inaccurate.

3.0 out of 5 stars Runs small, July 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Cute top but runs very small. I typically wear a large in Tshirts and about a 14/16 in dresses. I originally got an Extra large in this top so it would fit loose but I had to return it and get a 3x. I've never had to wear anything remotely close to that size before. This shirt runs very tiny
