How about some pictutures!
I would have liked to see some pictures in this book. I've never seen a gardening book without them - besides pictures of wonderful gardens are very inspiring.

I have a large back yard that gets lots of shade and lots of sun. This book helped me to plan my plantings for both conditions and introduced me to planting options that I hadn't thought of or wasn't aware of previously.

almost new?,

Book came on good timeframe, but the condition although Amazon website says "almost new", it is clearly used with markings inside. It should therefore say "used" and not "almost new". ALSO, the cover colors on the Amazon website is brighter than the product itself.
