Love these curtains. Beautiful fabric, much nicer than pic's reveal. Room darkening and I would describe the fresco as gold with some muted red and other colors in the print. They look expensive.Love these curtains and they were a great deal.. one of the only room darkening curtains that are sold as a panel set!!

I was looking for curtains with a heavy feel to them and thermal backings that would keep the cold out and reflect heat in the summer too. These do the job on all accounts, very heavy material and good quality thermal backing. The only thing was they were a little too gold colored but I actually have them behind the blue silk curtains that were already up for a layered effect so it didn't matter in the end - the price was a steal too so I won't complain. All in all a really good buy.

I am living in a temporary housing for work. My room takes a HUGE beating from the sun every day. It's stifling hot and so bright it hard to sleep (I work nights). The fan was just blowing hot air around, so I bought one panel of these curtains. I turned them sideways and taped the over the window like aluminum foil. Didn't want to invest in a rod and drill holes for a temp situation. Even put up in the ghetto manner, the curtains make a HUGE difference.The are lightweight enough to allow some air movement if the window behind them is open and there is a stiff breeze - but they are also in no way flimsy. They feel nice to the touch, substantial, but not plastic-y. They block A TON of heat. The room didn't begin to get hot until 2:30 pm, when it had previously been unbearable by 10 am. They are not blackout curtains and do not claim to be. They are room darkening and do block a considerable amount of light, but the light that gets through lights up the pretty pattern on the curtains nicely. It makes it dark enough to sleep without on eye mask in the Southern California sun, but also let enough light through that you are no trying to wake up in a pitch black cave. This is awesome for me, since I have a very hard time waking up in the dark. Even though they are way cheaper than the competition, I was hesitant to shell out the cash for them. I really do believe that you get what you pay for in most circumstances. However, it was well worth it. Please note that if you are getting them for color coordination purposes that they have much more of a gold undertone than the picture suggests.
