Product Description

Diopters are optical close up lenses that make macro photography easy. When added to a lens they greatly narrow the depth of field while reducing the minimum focusing distance of your lens. The effective focal length of the dioptere are: +1 = 1000mm +2 = 500mm +3 = 333mm +4 = 250mm +5 = 200mm

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: B + W 52mm +5 Close Up Glass Filter - NL5 (Electronics)
If you are truely budget bound, these will work for you Macro shots. I recommend the medium price product of Extention tubes. I bought a set of them off Amazon for less than $100. A camera store wanted to charge me almsot triple for the same thing. AS I sated, if price is a concern.. these will work, but the extention tubes are much better quality and MUCh cheaper then an actual macro lens.
