I have this album from the 80's and it is terrific, especially the singles "Baby Ran" and "I Go Blind" which is much better than the Hootie and the Blowfish re-do.

I agree with the music fan from Minnesota. If you liked the Hootie cover of "I Go Blind" then you'll LOVE the original. These guys helped pave the way for Canadian alternative music, allowing bands like The Tragically Hip and The Barenaked Ladies break into mainstream American pop charts. In addition to "Baby Ran" and "I Go Blind" the album features "Take My Hand" which, to me, will never get old. The vocal harmonies of Phil Comparelli and Neil Osborne are delightfull. The big brass sound of Phil's trumpet and the soft sound of the acoustic guitar blended with the smooth distortion of the tastefull solos will give you shivers! These Canadian legends are sure to please. I've given it five stars but it is NOT their best album. If you are unfamiliar with this well kept Canadian secret, I highly recommend their album "Sweeter Things" as a great starting point for new fans FFF to become acquainted with their music. It features all their best before "Dear Dear". After hearing it, you'll wish you had heard of FFF sooner and you'll want all their albums!
