Four AA batteries lasted 3 hours,

Yeah this is pretty horrible.
It killed 4 new AA batteries in 6 days at an average use of 30 minutes per day. Which is possibly a rather amazing feat of electrical engineering. How can you pull that much energy out of 4 batteries at a luminence of, I'd guess, 20 lumens... on par with a nightlite. Heat may be one answer, as the rightmost battery was pretty hot in comparison to the rest, after struggling to turn on for a few seconds on the last try. I told Scottie to reverse the polarity, but he said he'd given it all he got. I'd read the horrible reviews before I bought it, but sub-3 dollars, who cares right? Of course batteries are expensive and now I lost that money too. Meh.

I bought one of these for a dark stairway-- total waste of 5 bucks.
1) It barely gives off any light. 2) Eats batteries. 3) Doesn't adhere to wall very well. 4) You'd think it would be easy to turn off and on but you have to really push it and it makes a loud click. Went straight into the trash.

This product isn't worth 5 cent! I should have listened to previous reviewer's! This light does not even stick to the surface. I am not a tough reviewer either. I have never given any product less than 5 stars. Do not buy this, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got 2 of these for my closet which has no light whatsoever. I put 4 batteries in them, each and pushed them on. They both worked. Sorta. The first one was nice and bright and really brought enough light into my closet. The second one was more dim for some reason. I put them both in my closet, on opposite ends.
The next morning, the brighter one did not work anymore. I replaced the batteries and nothing. I never touched it after I put it up, except to make sure it was working. One day. That's all it lasted me. The dimmer one still works but I have a feeling it's only a matter of time. This is probably one of the worst products out there. Maybe there is a another better brand that actually works, but for now, I will stay far away from these types of lighting methods-especially by GE.

For the price it's great, but I was hoping for a little more light. But who am I to complain, as it totally gets the job done.
