I agree with the other review, dont pay more then $90 for this lens. its pretty good, but nothing to get excited for. its a nice starter lens or something to use for new photographer, the images are not very sharp, but they do have good color. focus speed it average and kind of noisy you can hear the gears a mile away. I think I will sell it and get a better lens.

I purchased this one because of affordablity. Man! i was so excited when i received it today and i immediately put it on to my xs. I would say it captures good quality pics and i think it can resolve lil blurry issue by using tripod if maxing up the zoom but for close capture it is great and steady. one more issue is the one i has received was different from the picture. it is more solid and not feelin cheap and lil more bulk. it comes with the round zoom hood which i really appreciate though i wont buy separate hood anymore. dont be annoyed of noisy focus, you will get used to it like me soon.

This lense is not all I thought it was. It functions okay but the equivalent in another brand would have been a better choice. I now know why the price was reduced to $99. If I knew then what I know now I would have spent more and bought something else, or only paid $70 because thats what it is worth.
