Book Description

[Note: The Kindle Version has been updated with a live Table of Contents.]

A Resource Manual for those looking for Answers.

One of the great benefits of reading God's Word is the way that it makes us think. If you're like most people, when you read the Bible you are forced to begin to face issues and situations that you never have before. And that is a great thing!

But sometimes you run up against some Scriptures that leave you scratching your's not easy reading accounts that were written in a different culture, with customs, sayings, and behavior that is foreign to you. And once in awhile you run into something you just plain don't understand.

This resource will help you answer questions like:
*Was there rain before the Flood?
*What is the significance of Seven?
*Who were the Lost Tribes?
*Did God give Job over to Satan?
*Why did Moses strike the rock?
*Was John the Baptist Elijah?
*How did Judas die?
*What is the baptism of fire?
*What is it to be risen with Christ?
*Why was Jesus baptized?
And 545 More!

3.0 out of 5 stars Needs to be more Kindle-friendly December 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I got this as a free download. This is an extensive resource and although I don't expect to agree with all 555 of the answers here, it's still a commendable effort. The big problem with this Kindle version is that the Table of Contents is not active and does not link to the sections. In handling 555 topics this is an essential feature. It's tedious to scroll through endless topics, and not practical that a book like this will be read page after page in sequence. I am glad I got this free, but would have returned it if I had paid for it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book December 31, 2012
By Andy
Format:Kindle Edition
I would highly recommend this book to those still unfamiliar with the Bible and those who are as well. It explains each answer in a clear and concise manner. The only retraction I think would be that some words are misspelled and in certain instances might confuse the reader with a completely different meaning. Overall it's a great book.

This is not a shallow book and honestly deals with heavier questions that I have been asked, and did not have answers to. I am not a new Christian and I do not think for a second that I know it all. The more you know, the less you know you don't know, but I did not feel this book was a waiste of time as I have others that were too basic or simplistic. It asks and answers some tough ones and I delight in winning over a tough question.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another good tool for the good fight! February 17, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Every Bible believer should be up on giving an appropriate answer to the "difficult" questions of the Bible. There are many reasons for this and if not clear as to why then pick up a copy and quiz yourselves! This volume will go a long ways in combating biblical illiteracy that is so unfortunately common today!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Reference February 17, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a very good reference to use when studying the bible. I liked the way I could jump around with the table of contents. I haven't read it first page to last but rather section by section to coincide with my current studies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Puts You at Ease January 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is not what I would consider a novel to read before going to bed! It should be a book every pastor or bible study teacher would want if for no other reason than to ease your mind about having to answer questions from members of the congregation. Here in a concise medium are several hundred answers to difficult biblical questions. I find getting around in the Kindle edition tedious but having it as close as a Smartphone makes up for any headaches. I recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Navigate and Full of Knowledge January 10, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I really enjoy using this Book by Barry Davis for a Bible study tool and reference guide. Not only is it a quick reference, it is based on Scripture, God's Word, not just Mans opinion. This is what we all should be using as our Guide for Life, God's Holy Word. God is the Creator and desires a relationship with us His Creation.
Barry uses Scripture on a variety of different subjects. So go brush the dust off your Bible and look up the Scriptures provided in this book yourself and rightly divide the Word of Truth using this guide and The Word Of God together. You will learn things you never knew about God. Get this book, I encourage you to do it. May God richly Bless you and reveal Himself to You through the study of His Word.

" Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. But shun profane babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness." 2 Timothy 2:15-16.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not very good.
This book has simplistic answers and some are even erroneous! I can furnish examples upon request. Not a very useful item.

2.0 out of 5 stars Stopped reading it.
It's probably not a good idea for Catholic to buy Protestant Bible commentaries. This isn't Catholic friendly. Protestants will probably like it.
