Excellent product with great instructions. Have felt a noticeable increase in power and responsiveness in my Dodge Charger R/T with 5.7L Hemi. Plus, I'll never need to replace the old air filter again. Be careful removing the air temperature sensor from the old hose as the body of the sensor can be brittle if it is too cold outside.

I have had the K&N cold air intake kit installed in my 2007 Dodge Magnum R/T for about a month now. I can definitly tell a difference in the sound of the hemi when I accelerate. The gas mileage is not that much difference but hey its a hemi!

It was easy to install (relatively) and looks nice under the hood. I don't think there has been much improvement in mileage or HP but the HEMI sure sounds nice.

This product fit my engine, but didn't fit the frame of my car. Only one of the two mounting points worked for me; which meant that it flopped around inside the engine compartment. I assume that it was designed for another LX platform (e.g. Challenger) that was sportier than my 300C. I didn't really mind returning it, after I read the LX Forum performance challenge tests that were financed/performed by a consortium of LX owners. In that test, it proved that you could obtain just as much performance from the original OEM air cleaner and air box as with any after market CAI system. The only bonus that a CAI provided was the loud growling noise of air being sucked into the throttle body.

Personally, I didn't like the growl as it let everyone else know when you were at wide open throttle and thus had no more oomph to give. It was also loud and startling enough to alert every cop on a coffee break within 3 blocks to chase after you for "going for it." It also totally drowned out the throaty rumble of my $1400 Corsa exhaust system.

As for the claimed horsepower gain, my controlled 0-60 performance test showed no improvement. I don't believe that the manufacturer outright lied, but instead uses fuzzy logic. Here's what I mean: No one would ever pay for a new air cleaner and then decide the very next day, "I'm going to buy a K&N CAI today." No, probably only after their OEM air cleaner was downright dirty and clogged and needed replacement; would they then justify the expense of a CAI. Thus, when you compare the efficiency of the new CAI vs. the old dirty, clogged air cleaner - yes, performance gains can be acheived.

I knew I was going to love this intake before I even got it in the mail. K&N's been doing their thing for over 40 years, and I've installed a performance intake on every car and motorcycle I've ever owned.

The intstructions are well written, just not the most detailed for the novice garage-guru. I will put emphasis on the the fact that you'll want to retighten your bolts after driving for a while, NOT because there's anything wrong with the product/hardware, but due to the gap between the throttle body and the filter shroud, you may have some play in the saddle-clamp at first.

Now, technical aside, I love this intake. The fact that I've gotten an estimated (car gauge reading) gain of 1.2 mpg, noticed better throttle response, torque, sound, AND dresses up your engine bay WAY better than that bulky-black-accordion-brick that came from the factory.

Get this intake, and buy it here, where it's cheap. Cheers.

The air intake works great. I bought it for my 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8. You wont notice a whole bunch but you notice a little bit. The install was pretty easy also. It came with instructions on how to install it and i alos watched a clip on youtube while i was installing it. . You cant beat the price on Amazon either. I highly recommend if you are looking to buy a air intake.

The K&N Gen2 Air Intake Kit is one of the best upgrades I've had done to my Dodge Magnum. There was noticeable difference in sound and performance. It looks amazing, and I actually pop my hood sometime just to stare at it for a while. It was a very simple installation, and I believe K&N have the best instructions because they show you the entire process from start to finish. Amazon.com has for sure the best price. Everybody was trying to charge me from 350 to 450 for just the K&N CAI. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to ant car owner.

easy setup, easy instructions and was very happy with how it sounds and what it does for my vehicle. Does help with the gas mileage but not a by a huge amount. But what it does is amazing with the Horse power i'd gained

I received the unit alot sooner than what I was expecting which was a nice surprise. The instructions were very good, even told you how to take the stock intake unit out if you didn't know how to. The installation is very simple and fits perfectly on my 06 dodge charger rt. I had an after market catback exhaust from jba which helped me hear the hemi engine at work, but with adding the k&n intake, it sounds like a beast and feels like the engine is going to explode out of the hood! I love this product, and love my car more for it.

We have owned a 2006 Dodge Charger 6.1L SRT-8 for nearly two years, and my husband has been wanting a cold air intake for it since we bought it. I finally bit the bullet and ordered this for him since the price was so great, and he was very much pleased. I don't know technical details about how the performance has been affected, but I can tell you two things for sure: one, it will get up and go much quicker than before (and it was quick already), and two, it sounds awesome doing it. It only took around twenty minutes for my non-mechanic husband to put it on by himself. Our fuel economy has increased by nearly 2 MPG, which is almost a 10% increase for this beast.
