My experience with all these batteries Dell , HP etc is that they work at less than 50% of the original capacity after a year.

That's what I have. I took out the battery and looked at the replacement number on it and made sure it was compatible. I had to push battery in because it was a tad snug but it fits and works great

I'm not sure, but if you look back of your battery you'll see the model, for example "MU06", you'll see also a label that says replace with HP XXXX (a sequence of nine numbers) Thus, you need look for a battery that matches with this specification. One tip is you search for this number sequence like battery HP XXXXX. If this one matches with your HP specification I recommend buying, it's doing a good job, the only con is that heats up more than the original one. I hope I've helped you.
