ok, how can I desribe this record? Power? Chaos? Intensity? Emotion? Amazing? HOw about all the above! First of all, its an early e.p. and was released on Texas based Pluto records along with another band by the name of Travail (now on Metrovox Records, check em' out) Anyway, for those present day fans of Luti-Kriss who love their depbut album on Solid State Records "Throwing Myself" you won't be dissapointed with this record. A few differences though, Josh doesn't scream on this record quite as much, he kind of talks (if that's how you desribe it) also, they have a sixth member on this record who is missing from the current line-up. His name is Mick and he adds turntables that actually enhance the intensity of the music instead of giving it that wussy rap-core sound (i.e. Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit) Anyway its a great record, though the bass isn't as developed on this one as it is on "throwing Myself" (due in part to the fact that there is a different bass player here. Anyway, I give it 5 stores because its a relly good piece of work, although I did notice a similarity between "i Covenant, I'm Yours" on this record and "Patiently Philadelphia" on "thorwing myself" get both albums, these guys are definetely at the top of their game, and if you live in the Atlanta area, see these guys live, as well as the band known as Atonement, they're both insane live and your ears will ring for weeks.

There was Luti-Kriss. They ended up changing their name to Norma Jean so as to not get anyone confused with the rapper Ludicris. This album is not nearly as good as "Throwing Myself" but it shows you the beginnings of a terrific band. Back as Luti-Kriss they had a nu-metal style goin on, but every so often (especially on "Throwing Myself") you could hear hints of what was to become known as the math/hard-core band we all know and love today, Norma Jean. Btw, don't be duped into buying this cd for 50 dollars. Don't let the scumbags that overprice it win you over. You are much better off downloading a torrent for it, because not only is it difficult to find...but when you do find it, these doucheballs want way too much for a 5-song cd. So you are better off just downloading it here: [...] (if amazon deletes the link, send me a message and I will give you the link there).

Favorite songs on here are actually the first two, "Body of God" and "My Closet."
