Christopher Titus is easily the best argument for a person being able to pull themselves out of a rough childhood and making something of himself - and if you don't know why, you're about to learn. Titus has made a career out of laughing at his life and his family: his clinically insane genius mother, his verbally abusive drunk father, and of course his own hijinks . . . and now he's bringing his children into the mix. Not as the target of his wit, but as the catalyst for his new material. It's a world gone mad following 9-11-01 and he's got a brand new daughter to try to protect while trying to hold on to his marriage (a battle he'd sadly lose, though not at the time the CD was recorded) and his sanity.

Titus takes you through his hilarious views on President Bush ("Our President"), the white race's feelings of guilt towards the other races ("Whitey"), his boneheaded mistakes as a parent (the "Incident" tracks), his time touring Iraq with the troops ("Our Troops" through "Sgt. Pepper"), his views on the Catholic church's child abuse problem ("P***phile Crucifixions") and the loss of his his father - and the amazing way his dad wanted to be sent into the next world. Through it all you never get a sense of despair or worry, just a good-natured guy trying to slog through one challenge after another and finding the humor in every situation. Is it better than "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding?" I don't know. It's just as hysterical, only with a new focus.

Bottom line, it's not another one of those comedy albums with a bunch of lame observations about the little oddities of life - it's a witty jab at the big issues in life and the little children who get him through, and it's a gem. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen.

I had the good fortune to hear this material live first. During that performance I was barely able to take a sip of my drink between helpless laughter and spellbinding social commentary.

Hearing it again in my car I nearly had to pull over because I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. This performance ranks right up there with his "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding" performance, which was the basis for his series on Fox.

Christopher Titus is one of the best comics of our time. Don't miss this album.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of seeing Christopher Titus live, 2 times now. The 1st time was this tour, "Fifth Annual End of The World". It is fantastic. He does not hold back on anything. He really makes you think about the events around the world, he says what the majority of us are thinking but don't say. He can also be very emotional, a couple of times when he speaks of his daughter or father you feel kinda sad and then he hits you with something totally outrageous. I can't pick 1 part that was my favorite, the entire show is. The 2nd time was just last month and he is doing a show about his divorce. Even if you have not been divorced or married it is still hilarious. He was at our local Funny Bone, which is small, so we were lucky and got a table front and center of the stage, he messed with us alot, embarrasing but makes the experience that much better. After the show he took the time to chat with us, sign a shirt for my 13 year old, DVD case from his old TV show and to take a pic. with me. If you ever have the chance to see him make sure you do.

I love this comedian, and he does not disappoint. Mr. Titus is not for the faint of heart or easily offended, but I want my hard truths from no one else. I love this guy.

I had seen this years before and was looking for it in stores, but couldn't find it. So glad Amazon had it. Love Christopher Titus's sense of humor!

Titus is most hilarious! His real life experiences of a dysfunctional life and family set the stage for the most entertaining comedy available!And his delivery is perfect for the style and content of his stand up.I cant wait to see more from Christopher Titus in the future!

It's comedy cds like this that make me question television producers. With such a funny guy like Chris Titus, I don't know why the tv series was cancelled.

This was hilarious! We love Christopher Titus and wish he would do more stand-up. Not for under 16.

I have been a fan of his for a while and I really enjoyed this one. He is down home funny even when his humor has a bite to it.

If you were a fan of the TV show Titus,as I was,your going to love this too.The show should have lasted at least 3 more seasons.This goes over some of what was on the show as well as more or less bringing you up to date with what's going on in the world now and of course his halarious view of it.
