Item came on time and was very well built. Installation is a nightmare but has nothing to do with this product. Its the disassembly of the stock one that took nearly 10 hours. I do recommend the product.

Not legal in CA,

First let me say this is great idea for this engine. Ford charges $1,800-$2,400 to replace the EGR cooler. If you replace the EGR cooler with this device it will void your Ford extended warranty and is not legal in CA. CA requires smog checks for Diesels now and they look for the EGR cooler to be in place. However, some counties (Mono,Inyo and others) in CA do not require smog checks.

Its a great product bought another for my 05 powerstoke 6.0L. The install is not bad even if your a non
mechanic. I am so it was not hard and it comes with instuctions so even the non mechanic can put this kit on there powerstroke great product thanks custom diesel.
