I found this knife while camping in Ontario and think it is pretty good. The PCV case is cheap and flimsy but the knife itself keeps a very sharp edge. The handle is made from tough plastic and is comfortable to hold. There is some rust on the case grommits and screw collars but I have no idea how long this had been sitting in the water before being found.

It's the original cheapo fake survival knife! I got one of these when I was a kid and loved it. I still have it to this day too. I learned from it the differences between a cheap knife and a quality knife, so I give it credit for that.

This being a Cheap knife:
-Low quality steel is difficult to sharpen but after a long time I was able to put a decent edge on it (although not with the included sharpening stone).
-The sheath has no middle layer, so the blade comes in direct contact with the stitching and eventually cuts through it, which can be a safety hazard.
-The hollow handle means the blade is only weakly attached at the top and could snap off easily. On a good survival knife, the blade should extend down through the handle for better strength.
-The compass was poorly sealed and all the liquid leaked out of it one day, so I just removed it.
-The wire saw inside the handle was horrible and I was unable to cut anything with it. I replaced and upgraded some of the things in there to make it more useful.

Overall it's a piece of junk, but it was a fun learning tool/toy for me as a kid and I have fond memories of it. I would not recommend it for serious outdoor use, but it could be somewhat useful just to keep in a drawer or the glove box or something.

This was my first survival knife. A friend gave it to me for my birthday. After a while the blade started wiggling so i put a different nut in the handle and now it hasnt wiggled for a year straight. It keeps a decent edge and isnt super hard to sharpen. For me the sharpening stone works really well, if you know how to use it. The compass is crap, but I dont use it anyway. I just took the survival kit out because its not really neccesary. I just put a small knife if the handle. The case is ok, its not really water proof, but it works. Ive never used the can opener but the saw is decent for making notches. Sorry if this review doesnt help you. Its the first one ive ever written.

Great knife for the price. Handle is plenty big enough to put more stuff in it. The blade could have been sharper, although it comes with a small sharpening stone. Would buy again!
