I should have listened to the other reviewer who said these were junk, but I needed something quick and I was hoping these would do the job. Wrong! Wouldn't fit on a picnic table at a picnic area. Tried a variety of ways to get them to stay on, but they would fall off or break. Stay away from these!

We have a set of those metal framed folding picnic tables with plastic table and bench seats. The table being thicker than the normal wooden tables, I thought these might work. They adjust wide enough, but if I had realized they were the cheap pieces of %^4#@*& that they are, I would never have bought them. Instead I am using very large "rubber bands" that we originally bought to go around the top edge of bins to secure garbage bags, to wrap around each table on each end to secure the table cloths, this works fine.
