5.0 out of 5 stars The most beautiful crib set ever

3.0 out of 5 stars do not dry in the dryer
A friend of mine reciently bought this product and because of her severe allergies, was told to wash everything included. When she followed the washing instructuions it said to tumble dry on low. 5.0 out of 5 stars The most beautiful crib set ever, November 13, 2002
This review is from: 6 Piece Bedding Set - Paloma (Baby Product)
For my entire pregnancy I searched high and low for a mainly lavender crib set. I went everywear. Stores, catalogs, and the internet. Then during the last few days of my pregnancy Kidslines comes out with this set. Which amazingly enough also had butterflies on it, which was also my theme. This set is not only beautiful, but beautifully made as well. You will not be disapointed. In addition, I too searched for the additional coordinating items and couldn't find them. So I wrote the company and it turns out that this set is a Babies R us exclusive. So to get the other items you have to special order them directly from babies r us.

I special ordered all the items below at the following prices:

1. Diaper Pail/genie cover [money
2. Butterfly Rug [money]
3. Quilt clips [money]<
4. Set of 3 butterfly wall decorations [money]<
5. Night Light [money]<
6. Set of two butterfly knobs [money]<

They also sell some other items that I did not order, such as the diaper stacker stand and I cannot remember what else. Hope this helps everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars so special!, April 4, 2003

I decided to go with a lavender color theme instead of the usual pink for my expected baby girl. Most stores that I looked at had nice pink sets, however all the lavender sets had some kind of green plaid, which I did not like. When I saw this item online, it looked beautiful, and just what I had in mind. I just recieved the bedding and I can not stop looking at it and calling all my friends to tell them how beautiful it is.!!! I am a designer myself, and quality as well as design are both important factors for me, This set is cleverly/beautifuly designed and coordinated. The quality is very good. It is 100% cotton, (except for the dust ruffle which is mixed, and that is OK!), the bumper is not fluffy, it is nice and flat, which makes for a safer bumper, (the fluffy ones are like a step for the baby to get out of the crib-unsafe)
The bed sheet has elastic all around , not just on the corners, which makes it safer and more secure! and is so soft!
I also ordered all the matching items, and have a beautiful look going, the walls I will paint half way in lavender and use the border wall paper as a seperation between the top white and bottom lavender wall color!
Also the price is great most bed sets can range from $250-$650
and the cheaper ones are only 4 pieces or ALL polyester.
So I think this is the best deal
Nothing beets this one!!!!!!

Her once beautiful bed set was now brown and crispy! When she took it back the ladies weren't surprised and gave her a word of advice. They told her that this happens quite often and the best thing to do is air dry only! They replaced it but she did have to air dry the comforter, bed ruffel and bumper.

I am so pleased with this set. I am the pickiest person alive, and when my husband and I saw this set I knew this was the one!!!! The quality of the set is wonderful. The only thing that I was not too impressed with, was the lamp shade. It wasn't my preference because it's not cloth. Other than this, the entire ensemble is beautiful. It really does make you feel like you are in fairy tale land.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable, February 20, 2003
This review is from: 6 Piece Bedding Set - Paloma (Baby Product)
My husband and I looked at a lot of bedding sets for our new little girl. It wasn't until we saw this set that we fell in love. We purchased this set for our daughter and we are very satisfied with our choice. The only thing I am having trouble with is finding lavender butterflies to go on the walls. I would definetly purchase anything that goes with this set if I could only find it. If anyone sees anything or knows what I can do then post the information. Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely beautiful, September 16, 2002
This review is from: 6 Piece Bedding Set - Paloma (Baby Product)
We chose this bedding set for our little girl, We had decided on another set, but after we got the nursery all painted, which we painted the room lilac and lavender, we we're shopping for furniture at Babies R' Us and seen this set, we changed our mind completely, the set is beautiful. The comforter is so comfy feeling, with a look of denim, it's thick and so soft. And being that it's six pieces it leaves you with less you have to buy for the set. I'm definitely satisfied completely with this set.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pamper your princess!, November 25, 2003

As my older daughter is 9 yrs old and our 2nd child was a boy, we needed a new crib set for our new baby girl. I had decided early on that I would do lavender for her, since pink was a little too classic for me. I searched online and in stores for the perfect set and found it in Babies R' Us when gift shopping for a friend. This set is gorgeous and has just enough pink in it to match our pink crib. (Yes, pink crib!) The details are extraordinary and the quality is amazing. The best part is, you get most everything you need for under $200! The only disappointments I found with with this set were: a.) the lamp is not as good looking as the rest of the set so we passed on it and b.) we have had to buy the coordinating accesories on separate visits to BRU. The mobile is adorable and perfectly matched. I am tickled that Kidsline has just made matching basket liners available for your changing table or toys or whatever - however, be wary, you will do better to buy their 3 piece basket set at BRU because you will never find the right size elsewhere! We settled for the white, but they are still beautiful! If a little princess is in your future, this is the luxury you are looking for! You will not be disappointed in the quality or beauty of "Paloma" - I do not plan to part with it after she outgrows it! It is too precious!!!!

I originally registered for Whirligig...but when my husband and I saw this, we fell in LOVE! We had already painted our daughter's room pink so the lavender went along perfect! Only complaint is that I want the RUG and am having a hard time finding it. But it's BEAUTIFUL. Pictures do it no justice.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 6 Piece Bedding Set - Paloma (Baby Product)
I bought this bedding set and accessories over two years ago, and after numerous washes and being dragged around the house, it still looks great. The fabric is sturdy and never faded, and it looks even prettier in person than in the picture. My daughter likes it so much that I'm going to use the fabric to make a quilt to fit her "big girl" bed. The only negative about this set was the dust ruffle. It was more of a sheer than cotton/twill like the rest of the bedding. However, it made it through two years without any tears or snags. Also, a caution for those who are going to purchase an extra valance. If you have two windows or an over-sized window and need two valances, beware. The dye lots can vary quite a bit between each valance.
