Perfect fit
I ordered this to replace my Sony VAIO VGP-BPS2 battery which no longer held a charge. This new replacement battery fits just like it should and holds a charge just like the factory Sony battery. Highly recommended.

DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP SUBSTITUTE
I purchased this battery in Jan 09. By end of March 09 it was holding a charge for about 5 minutes. I tried contacting the seller but got no response. Tried to go through Amazon's A-Z guarantee but by that time was past the 90 day window. Have tried to contact seller 3 additional times still no response. You may think your battery works fine now but give it...

bought this just over a year ago.worked fine for 1 year held charge for over 2 hours (normal use) Now 16 months later it doesn't even last 15 minutes. I thought it would at least last a couple of years before it degraded.
