Great for what it does,

I am sure there are more sturdier constructed versions of this product on the market, but for my use it was the perfect fit for the price.
We had to trace a number of telephone wires in an old building and this did the trick quickly and reliably. Having the clips and the RJ11 adapter as connection options eliminated the need to carry around an extra adapter.

you can't go wrong with this unit if you need to tone out some telephone wire. The house we moved into had iw's going to 3 different boxes. Once this unit arrived it took us just a few minutes to put dial tone on our jack's that we needed.
