it was a good idea at lest
this nbc special was a very good idea but it was too much to put as a simple 2 episodemini series. Don't get me wrong it has moments for greatness but it also sags in a lot of places. To me this should have been a giant epic in several parts made for the movies. Well, that never happened and probably never will so this is still a entertaining movie which goes off and on...
