Years ago I had owned a folding lock blade knife similar to this one made by another company. I did some research on Puma knives and liked what I read so I decided to buy their knife that was like the one I had before. I am glad I did, this knife is quality made and holds a great edge. I carry it everywhere I go and use it a lot for everything from opening mail to cutting rope. If you practice it is possible to open this knife with one hand like so many of the popular folding kniives out there today. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a traditional lock blade knife.

5 stars with reservations. it just arrived and I see a few marks on the handle that will need some attention.
(knife is for display) The brass has some minor cosmetic grooves / scratches and the wood is less than smooth.
The blade itself is awesome. I equate the imperfections to being manufactured in China. Since its at a great price and the seller preforms super fast shipping, I think it deserves a 5 star rating. After a little polishing on the brass, it should be a fine knife to display. .

I actually cut the tip of my finger off with this cleaning fish, good knife. Be very careful though, it is sharp.
