Was really surprised when I received the tripod. Sturdy, simple, and good looking. Seems very sturdy for the price, plus its compact, and with a little care should last a long time. Wanted something that I could put in the car and not have to worry about losing a big buck item if someone accidently sat on it. Since I'm not a professional photographer, I just needed a simple tripod that gets the job done, and this is it.

I ordered this tripod because the description reads, among other things, "Weighs Just Over One Pound for incredible portability and versatility." Too good to be true. And is wasn't true. It weighs close to 3 pounds. I wanted an extra-lightweight tripod to pack in my suitcase for an overseas trip. These days every ounce in your suitcase counts. I'll probably bring my old, beat-up, but a bit lighter, Focal tripod bought at K-mart years ago. The Focal isn't as well put together, and the legs must be tightening by screwing, rather than by clipping. The new tripod is a better tripod - but just heavier than I wanted.

I'll probably send this one back. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew how much it really weighs.

Easy removable clip-on/off camera mount, leg bubble levelers and camera bubble level. Built well and is a lot better than what I expected for $15!

Pretty basic tripod but it goes up pretty high and it certainly does the job!

The first time I extended the legs one of them fell out of the plastic body. I taped up the end with electrical tape and got it to stick back in there. Then I discovered it panned and tilted as smoothly as a steel broom handle in a bucket of iron bolts. Perhaps if the camcorder weighed several pounds it might might smooth out this action, but I'd never trust an expensive camera to a tripod as cheap as this. I figured I could at least keep it for a still camera but then the center tube that houses the center column also fell out of the plastic body and it would not screw back in. I would not trust this tripod with even my cheapest camera. I hope the other reviewers continue to have a positive experience with theirs, but I strongly suggest not to entrust a camera that costs more than $100 to this hunk of junk unless they have money to throw away.

This is my first tripod for my Nikon DSLR camera, I never used tripod before but I feel this product can given me what I expect from it, It is very light weighted still robust. It rotates 360D for panoramic views and tiled vertically for up and down view. For beginners this is the best product with given price.

Photography has been my hobby/passion for the last few years. Besides a Samsung point and shoot, I own a NIKON D80 DSLR and a Cannon mini DVR. I earlier had a tripod, but lost it in transit. Hand-held night shots just got too difficult.

I was looking for 1 simple tripod - right height, easy to carry around, easy-tilt functions and most important - compatible with all my devices. This tripod is all that. Quite sturdy for how light it actually is. Comes with a bag. I probably did not notice the pictures clearly, but was pleasantly surprised to find a convenient handle on the tripod itself. This makes it so easy to hold it and carry it, when you don't want to put it in the bag. I wish it was a soft handle or a sponge was provided. But no complaints. It's a pretty good product for that price.

The tripod has a lever/wheel motion to increase the height. Rotating that level to increase/decrease to the desired height, particularly when you want to capture that precise moment/in a hurry - could be slightly cumbersome! But it acts as anti-slip also, which is good!

I've had this tripod for a few weeks now. It works really well and the bubble levels come in really handy when you take pics in the forest and such like I do. It is a little shaky, but what do you expect for the price? I gave it four stars, it looks nice and works great!

The description calls this a professional tripod for nearly every camera. THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL TRIPOD!!! I was not expecting much at this price, however this tripod still did not meet my low expectations. It was very cheaply made, and the index pin was too close to the attachment screw for my DSLR so it would not attach to my camera. If you want a cheap tripod, I suggest going to a discount store so you can confirm the quality and fit before you buy.

Ordered this Camera through Amazon.com third party seller. This tripod has a height adjustment wheel in the center portion. I am able to increase/decrease height by turning the wheel, but the screw that is supposed to lock it in place is not working. I have the screw all the way tight, but the tripod head still moves up/down freely. Very disappointed with the purchase. Did not get to use it even once. I am contacting the seller to setup a return.
