I just lost this bag a week ago, and now I'm realizing how impossible it is to replace! I used my Dickies bag for about 5 years, and before that it belonged to my older sister. I used it everywhere I went and it holds so much more stuff than you would expect! Usually I manage to cram my wallet, phone, keys, a travel sized lotion, and an entire water bottle into it without much trouble. I miss this bag so much! It's so hard to find another bag like this one that's small but spacious, has pockets to keep things organized, and goes with everything.
Whoever stole my bag will probably still be using it another 5 years from now...

This bag rocks. I always have it with me. I am a guy, and though there seems to be a social stigma attached to men carrying bags around in this country, I have carried a bag slung 'round my torso for years. You see, even though I am a guy, I still need to carry stuff around with me. This is not a phenomenon befitting only working moms and professionals. I never leave home without the essentials: my Cannon Power Shot, notebook, flashlight, Mexican wrestling mask, chewing gum, birdcall, etc... That's where my Dickies Lil' Dickie bag comes in. Other bags I have had in the past were too cumbersome; this bag is just right, small enough not to be a burden on my neck and shoulder but spacious enough to cram all of the aforementioned adventure gear into. The strap is adjustable, and there are little pockets on the inside for weird things, I keep needles and thread and pills and a few little rubber men in the inside pockets. You can actually fit a lot of stuff in this little bag! The top closure is excellent, a zipper covered by a flap which is held down securely with the greatest invention of the 20th century, Velcro. Although I have not yet put it to the test, I believe the bag is also semi-waterproof; it is constructed of a durable, somewhat shiny nylon. All in all, this little bag is essential for anyone who has a lot of little crap to carry out into the world, and I love it. So what if my wife and 98% of my friends call it a purse?! They are just jealous! It is lightweight, utilitarian, functional, fashionable (I have affixed my favorite pins to the flap), and as far as I am concerned, one of the most useful accessories for the modern hunter/gatherer working dad I am. Thank you, Dickies, for simplifying my life!

I have had my Lil Dickie for about 2 years now. I love how durable the canvas material is. I have washed it in the washer several times and the black has not faded at all. It does carry quit a bit without causing back pain because of the weight being distributed over the shoulder. Plus it is small enough not to be so bulky when traveling or shopping but not so small that I can't bring everything I need. I will absolutely not go shopping without this purse since it gives me the hands free freedom. I graded it a 4 because the velcro flap catches on my clothes and snags them sometimes which can be annoying. I wish they would make it with a strong magnetic closure instead.

This is called a little bag. It is great and holds so much more than I expected.I have used it everwhere, but it is great for the Farmers market.
No more holding a purse and trying to grab things. I would buy another one and this makes a super gift.

I bought this bag to use a a travel bag while on vacation. It was the perfect size to bring everything I needed on our day trips. I liked how it has a zipper and a flap with velcro, so I had peace of mind and didn't have to worry about pick-pocketers. It is also made out of a durable material, so I think it will be around to use on many more vacations.
