I agree with the review above.
No instructions....... it will not punch thru more than 2-3 sheets of paper. I am 6'2" and all it does it compress. Most hole punches have a head that goes THROUGH a hole to punch the paper cleanly. This design does not.

I bought this hole punch as I thought it looked durable (all metal), was well-designed with sensible waste control (three tray covers on the arms on the front, not one tray on the bottom that invariably falls off and throws punch-outs everywhere),replaceable heads, punches a large amount of paper and is (I think) made in America. It wins on all counts bar the punching through a large amount of paper (it advertises 72 sheets). I couldn't get it to punch cleanly through one. I thought it might just be me being weak and feeble but I gave it to my husband and he had the same problem. Perhaps we needed to replace the heads or turn them? But why if it was a new one? There weren't any instructions to say we should. Perhaps the model up that has the longer lever on it would be better? -

In any event I was disappointed and - thanks to Amazon's excellent return service - I returned the product.
