The second release The Dukes of Hazzard vehicles was made up 8 vehicles. I have no idea what the (12) in this item's description means but there's eight and I'll tell you what they are in this review.

Like all series of the Dukes of Hazzard Johnny Lightning vehicles, the normal cardboard backing with a small plastic blister has been replaced by the whole thing being entombed in plastic. I like this as it certainly ensures if you are a keeper in packaging type person that it stays in great condition, even if you buy it online and it comes through the post. My only criticism is they could reduce the top part in size (above sticker) as it would then fit on more smaller shelves in people's houses to display these great cars.

What Johnny Lightning did with the second release and continued with each subsequent one was remove the carboard from behind the actual vehicles allowing you to see the car from all six angles including the back of the blister card (see customer images). They also made the magnets rectangle (a design they would keep with subsequent releases but they change to stickers from release 3 onwards).

Three General Lees did make up this release but one is just a concept car with a small front wheel and large back one and the engine much larger than would fit in the bonnet (hood). There's also a black version of the General. The other however if you're a keeper of your cars in their packaging type person is the General Lee you'll want to get, as it comes with a magnet of the General in the background. However if you are into throwing out the packaging and just after the car you'll probably want the Release 3 Dodge Charger General Lee as it comes with the black bull bar you can see in the magnet and on TV.

Other cars which made up release 2 are
Hughie Hogg's Volkswagen Beetle - Does not come with the cow horns on the front that the one on TV had.

Daisy's Jeep CJ-5 (Don't worry if you can't get this under the Release 2 cars as it was also released in the initial Dukes of Hazzard release 1 just with lighter brown hubcaps and interior) - She received this as a bridesmade gift from C J Homes after her previous car was destroyed.

Enos Dodge Monaco Patrol Car (white police car dual headlights)

Sherriff Little's Dodge Monaco Patrol Car (white and green car, exact same as Enos Dodge Monaco Patrol Car except the green and different emblem on doors)

Gray Ghost Jr 1968 Chevy Camaro - Jesse and Boss used to race each other in the old days and back then Boss had a car called Gray Ghost. When they decide to race again Boss gets a new car and names it Gray Ghost JR. The paint job on this Johnny Lightning version doesn't look too realistic. Only get it if it's a good price.
