5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Experimental Black Metal, January 21, 2011
This review is from: 666 (Audio CD)
This was a great album for its time. I found the imagery of both the inserts (tall digipak version) and music/sounds to be very interesting and entertaining in the sense of a dynamic work of dark art. Silly to many, I'm sure, but creative none the less, and only of value to those who appreciate it for what it is. It was very creative side project influenced greatly by the main projects (Impaled Nazarene and Necromantia). Sadly, I lost the album to a burglary. As mentioned, I had the tall digipak version with the additional booklet of artwork which was very interesting - so much so that I once got the images blown up and put them on my wall.

I gave it 5 stars simply because it is like a classic movie that, sure, gets a bit cheesy as it ages, but still remains very unique in an of itself, and amongst the Black Metal projects (both purely music and otherwise) of its time.

3.0 out of 5 stars Diabolos Rising 666, March 28, 2009
This review is from: 666 (Audio CD)
I have owned this CD for five years. It is certainly alternative to most things I have heard. It starts off with about a minute long burst of Middle E which then goes into that great "Freaky-Fairy Tale" music which such Genius as Alice Cooper has embraced. I'm not sure of the origin of the band, what language it is sung in, or indeed it's intentions. But all in all if you like Extreme Death Metal then it's certainly worth a listen. Personally I think everyone should look them up and give it a listen.
