I already had a K&N filter in my factory airbox in my 2008 Volkswagen GTI. I bought the "filter on a stick" to see if it could make any additional gains. It seems to pull a bit harder, but for a chipped K03 turbo putting a K&N panel filter in the factory airbox gets you 95% of the gains, with less noise. The K&N is well made though, and if gotta have one this is a fine choice, especially for Amazon's price. I suspect this is a more worthwhile part if you are running a bigger turbo, like a K04 or a Garrett.

Didn't take long to install on my VW Jetta GLI. Works great, sounds awesome. Not 100% sure it's worth all the money but I've only had it a week. Definite increase in power. Gas mileage seems to be a bit better but not really noticeable.

Was hardest to take large plastic cow off than to install this product with has increased my gas milage by about 4% as long as I keep my foot off the pedal!!!!!

The instructions were clear (if they were in color will be even better) and took about 2+ hours to install (I took my time). All the hardware is perfect especially the one piece intake pipe, because other systems don't have this option. You hear a slight hissing when you accelerate but that's what it makes it sporty! If you want the BEST air intake in the market with real results you turn to K&N. The name you can trust for years to come!(R)

I rate this a 4 star only because this is supposed to fit on a 2007 VW Passat 2.0T but it is not an exact fit. The only way this fits is if you modify the intake tube and make your own brackets to hold the tube in place. Also, you will not be able to use the heat shield as there is not enough room. But once you make it fit, this product works great.

Easily installed on my '06 GTI easily. It was a good bit cheaper than other places and you can't beat Amazon's Service and shipping with Prime. I noticed a very slight power increase, but after I calmed down on the throttle I picked up about 1 mpg. You definitely hear the diverter valve more now. Some will consider than a positive and others a negative.

Have had this on a few weeks now and love the increased throttle response and great sound I would definitely reccomend

I searched the internet for about a week and never thought to try Amazon. When I entered in the part number and it came up on here I was shocked to see it was about $50 less than the cheapest price I found on other sites. I was also told I would get it in about 5 to 8 days and got it in 3. It wasn't the easiest removal of stock parts because of the engine cover (2008 Audi A3) but the install took about 15 minutes. I noticed an increase in power instantly and throttle response was awesome. Anyone who buys this product and is having trouble removing the engine cover, just pop out one corner at a time. It takes a little longer but you have less of a chance to crack the cover. And yes it is a pop out cover, it doesn't feel that way but it is. Just 4 rubber grommets tightly mounted in there. All I can say is best price, great product, timeliness of delivery was perfect, and all around more than satisfied.

Just had this put in my 2007 Audi A3. So far it seems to be a good add on. I can feel the difference already. And for the price its not bad to have.
