I'm glad I jumped when I did. I wouldn't worry though. I bet they'll drop it down again

i hope they do. I had actually cancel that 69.99 price because I didn't think Id have the 70 bucks

Now That might be affordable but the 88.86 isn't looking to promising

I've been watching it every day and the price hasn't fluctuated once. I keep hoping that as the release date gets closer we'd see a bit of a drop, but so far nada. We still have a few weeks left so I still reserve some hope. Still, at $88.86 (current price) only breaks down to about $8 a season.... still not bad all things considered.

I hope it goes back down. I noticed a few other online retailers are charging less

EDIT: NEVERMIND I found one at BUY.COM for $68.99 and notified Amazon.

what are these online retailers you speak of? can you link them? Amazon has price matching and if we can submit the proof before release we might have a chance to get the price knocked down.

buy.com was the one. DVDEmpire.com for 71.99 was the other

Any word on a possible price match?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 8, 2012 9:42:56 AM PST
not yet... I submitted it to Amazon yesterday afternoon... hopefully we'll see a price match within a few days, but we don't have many left until release. Amazon has always been good about matching though so I'm not too worried.

sweet. thanks. I hope they do. I remember Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Trilogy [Blu-ray + Digital Copy] was 14.99 for 2011 fathers day weekend. I went to Target to get it. When I came home, Amazon had lowered the price to match Target. so hopefully they'll do it with this TMNT set

you're with stupid here. if you don't mind me asking, do you have a link or email where to go to submit it to amazon? I wanna give it a shot in hopes another voice will help them lower it

dvdempire.com jr.com buy.com all want 71.99 for it. I hope they lower it

I've been watching buy.com and the past 2 days they've fluctuated back and fourth between 69.99 to 71.99. I'm confident amazon will price match. they've always been good in the past.

I've seen this set at 54.99 $ at DVD empire. Is it a good site to order? Or do they sell illegal copies?

Thanks

It sucks that this is so expensive now >_< The only reason I didn't buy it right away is cause I'm hoping they'll release this set on blu-ray.

Is there a DVD replacement program for the discs in this boxset by Lions Gate? I hear that some of the discs have duplicated episodes on them and that some of the episodes are out of order on some discs?

I bought this boxset brand new when it 1st came out on Amazon for $69.99 :) I am glad that I did. :)

Thanks so much for your time,

Nick

The booklet listed some episodes out of order

disc 1 also has episodes from the last disc. Because the season 1 individual release contains bonus un-aired season 10 episodes

They gave the discs different labels than the individual releases but the contents recorded on the disc remain the same as the individual releases
