6inch memory foam mattress - QUEEN- foam mattress

I bought this mattress as an alternative to the traditional spring mattress, which are very expensive. I'm a college student and i needed a cheap bed for my room. I decided to get it with a wooden platform bed, which only cost me $100. This memory foam mattress came in about a week after ordering, before the estimated arrival date and right on time for me to move in. It was packaged nicely and folded up in a cylindrical cardboard box (it wasn't very heavy to lift), and all i had to do was unfold it onto my platform bed. The mattress was clean and very firm, although it's more like 5.5'' in depth instead of 6'', but it's no big deal. I'm not sure why the seller doesn't post a picture of the bed, but i assure you it is a clean twin size bed that is incredibly soft but firm. I have been sleeping on it for 3 months now and it still feels like new. I stopped getting back pains after sleeping on this bed, which is something that often happened when i slept on metal spring mattresses. This is a great bed for a great buy!

I had some initial trepidation when considering purchasing this mattress; most memory foam beds are much more expensive, and my prior experience with beds is that 'you get what you pay for.' Having slept on Tempurpedic for many years, I almost didn't complete my order. However, I am quite glad that I did.

The mattress comes rolled up in air-tight packaging, inside of a draw-string style canvas sack. Once you cut it open and unroll it, the mattress expands; as it expanded, my cynicism was lessened. I did not smell any of the odors that many other customers have talked about, but I did keep the fan in my room on and a window cracked to ventilate any potential smells. The bed itself feels quite soft when you lay down, yet it has a bit of firmness for support.

After sleeping on it the first night, it is a very good mattress. I am a side-sleeper and it did not aggravate my shoulder and hip much like a traditional spring mattress does. At over 250 lbs., I was worried that the 6" depth of the mattress would not be enough to support me, but it was more than acceptable. I needed something cheap as I am staying in a different city for work, and this mattress fit the bill.

This is a great foam mattress for kid or teen. Around six inches thick and feels like my much thicker Queen foam mattress to someone who is not a full size adult.
We used it on a mates bed and laid it flat on top of a wood frame. My daughter says it's quite comfortable. For the money, a great buy.

I've never owned a memory foam mattress before, but I'm impressed with this one and happy with the price. I purchased this for camping, sleeping in the back of my Toyota 4Runner. With the seats folded down, it's a very hard surface with no give. With everything else I tried, I couldn't get comfortable, and I woke up with sore spots. I'm a big guy - 6' 3" and about 300 lbs. Sleeping on this mattress is pure heaven. I can sleep on my back, on my side, in any position, and I'm more than comfortable. I never feel the rock-hard floor beneath me at all. I now sleep better than anyone else at camp. I hate to get up in the mornings!

I was concerned because everyone told me it would be hot, but this has been a really hot summer, and I think it's cooler than my old air mattress.

I don't see it wearing out, but if I thought it would, I'd buy another one to have a spare.

I bought this mattress for my five year old son and it arrived a few days ago. Like others have noted, it arrived rolled up in a compressed cylinder. Upon cutting open the package, it began to expand. It was noted on the included instruction sheet that there may be a strong odor. It said that was normal and would go away. Well, I didn't smell anything. I set the bed up and my son has been sleeping on it for a couple nights now and says he likes it. It is, however, not like sleeping on a cloud, as the description reads. It's quite firm, especially for a child. A heavier person may find it more comfortable, but at just 110 pounds, I found it to be too firm for my liking, but it's not my bed! My little man seems to be sleeping fine, so a good purchase all-in-all. Oh, also worth noting, it's not 6 inches. Like at least one other reviewer has noted, it's 5.5 inches. Not a problem for me, though.

My children LOVE these mattresses. They are very comfortable, even for me and I am a bit overweight. They were super easy to receive from UPS; came in a box that were about 10"x10"x4'. We aired them out over night and the very next day they were on the beds and we've been happy happy happy with them since. I highly recommend them, especially for the $$$. We could have paid MUCH more for coil springs, and been less happy! PS, jumping on memory foam is not as much fun as jumping on coil springs...

Vendor sent me a queen size bed instead of the twin that I ordered.
Awesome, free upgrade, right? Wrong. I had to cut down the bed to fit into my space.
And here is what I found out. Mattress is actually made out of three layers, only the top layer is memory foam. The other two are just foam for firmness.
That being said, I love this bed.
Bed has it's own gravity field in the mornings, around 3 Gs . Really hard to get up when it's molded around your body.
I would and I did recommend this bed to my friends.

Ordered this for my daughters beds, 2 twin size mattresses. When we opened the package, we thought it was an awful mistake - looked thin and cheap. But when we unrolled the mattresses, we discovered they had been vacuum sealed in their bags. They make a fun whooshing sound when you release the seal, and plump up nicely! We are very happy with our purchase, and the seller delivered them quickly.

The six inches is perfect for a bunk bed but it isn't as soft as I thought it would be. I bought a topper for it which made it more comfortable

I don't know what to say other than that just a mere six inches of this material is better than mattresses with double the thickness. I'm sleeping well and it doesn't deform into a basin. It helped greatly with my night-time heartburns!
