Book Description

November 1, 1999
It is unknown when these magical books were written, but we know they were translated from the ancient Hebrew. The Sixth Book is composed of "Secret Seals" used in magical rituals. Each seal is presented, followed by a matching conjuration. The conjuration is a verbal spell summoning entities or energies beyond our reality that may in fact respond and help to achieve the goal of the summoner. The Seventh Book contains a number of magical tables, each of which performs a certain function. Carrying a table with you or bringing it to a certain area is supposed to bring results like wealth, love, or good luck. Also included is "The Magic of the Israelites," which contains instances of magic being performed in the Bible, followed by a Kabala section that reveals secret Kabalistic wisdom, the application of charms and remedies, hidden wisdom of the Psalms, and magical cures of the old Hebrews. Use of this book should be done with respect. If used properly, it claims to bring good fortune to those who proceed with good intentions.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

This extremely rare book was rescued from an old and only known printing that was terrible. Much work was put into restoring the copy to readable form. Highly sought after work in more of a western magical tradition.

2.0 out of 5 stars Definitely not written by MOSES!, August 31, 2000
This review is from: The 6th and 7th Books of Moses (Bk. 6, Bk. 7) (Paperback)
This book has nothing to do with either Judaism or Moses. It has long been regarded as a medieval forgery. Jews were often burned at the stake by the Inquisition for supposedly practicing sorcery, and books like this were used as the "proof" that such sorcery existed. In other words, it's the Jewish equivalent of the bogus "Malefactorum" used against pagan witches. It probably has some value in terms of the history of witchcraft and other gentile magicks in Europe, but if you are looking for authentic Jewish mysticism, this ain't it. The spells are absolute gibberish if you know even rudimentary Hebrew, and they contain so many Catholic elements that I burst out laughing. I mean, how could Moses, who lived around 1200 B.C., have used an incantation invoking the Virgin Mary? Talk about ridiculous anachronisms!

3.0 out of 5 stars One of the better versions of this text, April 29, 2005
This review is from: The 6th and 7th Books of Moses (Bk. 6, Bk. 7) (Paperback)
All of the various issues of this volume share the copy machine look when it comes to the printing of the various plates. This one is, as good as any I have seen.

It is far superior to "The Sealed Magical Book of Moses" which actually leaves out much of the material of this text, inserts too much material that doesn't pertain to the historical material, and is printed in a single sided format, in a plastic report binder.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very powerful book of magic, May 26, 2004

This review is from: The 6th and 7th Books of Moses (Bk. 6, Bk. 7) (Paperback)
OK, the printing isn't too good. Maybe it's a forgery, maybe it's not. That's not the point. If you believe in something and infuse it with power, it becomes a potent and valid instrument. Personally, I have worked almost every seal and table in this book and it is some of the most powerful magic I've ever done. BTW, I've been doing this stuff for a long time and have much for a basis for comparison. With all respect for everyone elses opinion, the workings contained within these pages have changed my life. Wisdom and blessings are wisdom and blessings no matter what their source. If anyone has any practical working experiences with this book, I invite you to email me to share and compare experiences. The address is mgrimm6052@aol.com. Blessings to all.
