This is a pretty good RC Car battery. It has been very dependable and I have gotten a lot of good use out of it. My old Nikko buggy works great with this battery (and since it's engine is pretty small I get about 30+ min of run time). The 4-hour recharge with their enclosed recharger is awful - why they call that a quick-charger is beyond me!You can also go with other 7.2v stick packs from alternate manufactures so you can get a longer run time. You can find other batteries at ... This Nikko battery is a 1500 mAh battery (more mAh are better since it will increase run time). You will also probably need a charger to go with a different brand of battery but the phone support at Tower is great and they can point you in the right direction. I would recommend the Duratrax Piranah 1800mAh battery ... and the Duratrax piranah peak power charger ... [there are cheaper chargers available] (note this charger can probably charge all of your other 7.2v nicad car battery packs - more quickly and more precisely). You might also want to check out Amazon Auctions to get some batteries/charger a little less expensively! Have fun!

Not your average size 7.2v battery stick pack!,
This review is from: 7.2V NiCd Battery Pack and Charger (Toy)
I just wanted to point out that Nikko #1372 is not your average size 7.2v stick pack as pictured by Amazon. It is actually a "AA" size 7.2v battery pack and charger for the Nikko Twist N Turn vehicle and other similar r/c cars that require a "AA" 7.2 stick pack. This one comes with a smaller plug so it will not fit standard r/c vehicles that require a 7.2v sub-C stick pack without an adapter. I just wanted to point this out for anyone looking to purchase this item. You can get an adapter from certain places like Radio Shack to use with a standard plug.Maybe Nikko at first years ago used this item number for a regular 7.2v stick pack and charger but as of October 2006, the item purchased directly from Amazon.com is a "AA" size 7.2v pack and charger. UPDATE: I now notice that Amazon is no longer directly selling this item. They possibly could have it corrected through other vendors selling via their site but I would recommend you verify the product before ordering.
