A Matter of Time,
By OOSA Online Book Club "O.O.S.A. Gets It Read!" (World Wide Web, USA) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE)
This review is from: 7:33 a.m. (Paperback)
The year is 2000 and readers meet Madison Robinson, a computer tech who also freelances for The Chocolate City Voice newspaper. Its 7:33 a.m. and Madison has been lying beside her boyfriend, Damion Cross, when some persistent person begins to knock on his door. While Damion goes to answer the door, Madison heads for the bathtub where she navigates back to 1999 and introduces readers to how the two met, her job, co-workers, best friend and family. Through many parts of the story we hear from Damion as well as Crystal Leonard, his other girlfriend, who is the person knocking at the door.
"7:33 AM" is predicable. With a great premise and title, I felt the story lagged in comparison to what it could've been. I never felt that the connection in either of the relationships was how the author portrayed it. Readers are introduced to secondary characters, which, in the end, were just left in limbo. While some may enjoy Monda's attempt at humor, dedication pages, advertisements and poems, I simply wanted to get to the heart of the story. Reviewed by: Crystal

AAMBC Book Reviews,

Damion Eric Cross is trying to juggle two women. His girl friend Crystal Renee Leonard, who is a Judge. Crystal has been dating Damion for 5 years and all she wants is for him to marry her, she is always there for him even with the times he has cheated on her in the past. Will she finally realize and wake up. His other girlfriend is Madison Paige Robinson who works with computers. She plays hard to get at first but falls hard for Damion quick. Is it possible to love two people? I enjoyed how each chapter went from character to character and kept my interest. I wanted to say to both Crystal and Madison...Wake Up. From the very beginning this book captivated my attention. I was eager to continue reading. Both women and men will appreciate this book. Monda Raquel Webb's novel is well written. This book had it all from drama to making you laugh. I was not disappointed at all.

Time Really Does Affect Our Everyday Lives,
By The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 7:33 a.m. (Paperback)
In 7:33am: THE CLOCK IS TICKING. WAKE UP!, Damien Eric Cross thinks that he can juggle two women at once. Living in the heart of Washington, D.C. where he has his pick of beautiful women, he chooses Madison Paige Robinson and Crystal Renee Leonard. Bad timing will result in both women discovering that they are being cheated on. But once they discover the truth, will they call it quits with Damien or continue to sell themselves short by staying with an unfaithful man? Only time will tell.
The subject matter of this novel was about one man trying to juggle two women. Webb told the tale from three points of view, which gave us insight in the lives of all the parties involved in this love affair. Both women learn a valuable lesson when it comes to following your instincts about love and loving yourself first. The novel was extremely plot heavy, and sadly the action did not start until the last 50 pages of the book. While Webb's point about being involved in a love triangle was made, I would have enjoyed more originality in the story, instead of the obvious and usual plot and conclusion that comes about when one man can't be faithful to one woman. 'Amazing Work of Art',
By T. Meads (Bowie, MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 7:33 a.m. (Paperback)
An amazing work of art that will keep you on the edge of your seat! The work was so intriguing, I was eager to continue reading at each traffic light...(Yep! while driving from the DoC through MD)...until I reached the beltway. Okay, I started reading 7:33am on a Friday evening......FINITO Saturday morning while enjoying a hearty breakfast and sipping on a delectable cup of pomegranate decaffeinated hot tea. 7:33am will make you smile, giggle, and shed a tear at the same time. It will touch your heart, magnify your soul, and illuminate your spirit. 7:33am is a must read which has at least one character whom every reader will conceivably recognize. Every woman and man will appreciate this great piece of work! It's even more exciting when you actually know some of the characters.
Keep the vision going Monda Chica. God definitely has more gifts for you to share!!! Much Love...
