Using a domain name to market your new idea, or your business, or to review an old project or whatever, is simply a smart thing to do. This book is written to not only inspire you into taking action, but also to help you understand how others are doing it and how you can do it too.

But Is It Really A Marketing Plan?

By no means is the $7.95 Marketing Plan a real marketing plan. My apologies to all the MBA’s out there who fell of your chairs when you saw the title of this book. Of course it's not a "real" marketing plan in the true definition. (Frankly, we think those are overrated in my most cases anyway).

However, If you’re so inclined to be one of those people who feel the need to have a full marketing plan in place then I highly recommend you do that. You're just not going to get that kind of crazy talk here where we do things willy-nilly (that's a highly technical term for half-assed).

For me, well, I’m more of a “let’s throw it up there and see if it sticks” kind of marketing guy. Not only does this allow me to move faster than well, everyone else, but it also allows me to fail more often than most. And to me, failure is just another step toward success. So if you’re like me, be warned, moving ahead on frivolous marketing campaigns as described in this text can be a risk to your long-term success.

There, I said it. I'm covered now right? I'm sure the MBA's still hate me. But then again in my defense… Doing it my way is way more fun and sometimes, more rewarding.

Especially when you just catch lightening in a bottle and even more so when it only cost you only $7.95. :)

I found this book to be a quick interesting read. Jim provides numerous tip and example as he guides the reader through the process of creating a domain name. He identifies the criteria for a name and explains the reasons and benefits of applying his criteria to your domain name creation.

I was reading this book while working on a new business idea. I kept jotting down name ideas as I walked through the pages of inspiration. I would turn a page and here came another name choice I had not thought of. Reading the $7.95 Marketing Plan led my thought process to a unique name, which I registered. When I need the next name, this book will come out again.

I enjoyed reading Marking Plan - The Ultimate Guide To Choosing Memorable & Powerful Domain Names by Jim F. Kukral. I think it happens to all of us, we start a blog and we have not idea how important a domain name we just pick something fun, meaningful, or available. We do not put a lot of thought into what we are planning on getting out of it how it will help us later on down the road, and many of us have no idea how much work is put into a website to make it rank and attract traffic. We start to learn the importance and wish we would have and wish we could, but simple fact is we already have so much time put into what we have, not to mention money.
I wish I would have been smart enough to read something like Marketing Plan when I decided to take the plunge into the wonderful world of blogging and marketing online, I had to learn the hard way. Which means extra work, not just a little a lot of extra work.
The $7.95 Marketing Plan offers awesome tips and tricks things I highly suggest you check out if you are thinking about joining the awesome blogging community. You will learn great things such as awesome sites that are available to check out keywords, and pages full of useful information. Before you jump, test the water so you make sure you start out on top of your game.
If you are just starting out or been up to it for a while $7.95 Marketing Plan is an awesome read filled with great tips.

Very practical book at a very practical price

Great book for someone new to buying domains. Good for the experience too for another perspective and a nice jump start into picking new domain names and building new businesses.

Currently I have four blogs where I have been building my businesses but this gives me ideas for new businesses with better names. Having read other books in the beginning about domain names I found some good ones.


I tried many of the tools linked in the ebook. Not all links worked and probably need to checked and updated.

This book taught me alot! And I will be setting my own domain SOON! :)!The $7.95 Marketing Plan offers a great blogging tip - before you choose your domain name, take the time to make a list of domains that will actually benefit your blog's SEO, making it easy for people to find you. Jim F. Kukral shares sites where you can test out keywords and it'll help you find a domain and tell you if it's available. I love it and will share it with others!

I haven't been blogging for very long at all but I have come across some catchy blog names that have stuck in my head. This book is about creating a domain name that people will remember and talk about which will bring more traffic to your website. This book is short and to the point. I wish I had read this book before choosing my domain name but I will reference it in the future when I am looking for a new witty domain name.
