This book is a joke,

This is nothing more than a long form advertisement. There is NO useful information here. Inversion therapy can relieve back pain. The author would love to sell you one. Muscle balance therapy is also proven to relieve back ailments, if you perform the correct stretches and exercises. What are those exercises? You won't find it here. However, the author has a kit he would love to sell you. Within the pages of this slim book, there is nothing that will help you cure your back pain.

There is allot of information that I knew already and some things I didn't.
The reason I am so mad is the this whole book is an advertisement to make you buy the $97 DVD and only there he will give you his real secret. So this is a complete waste of $10.17 and 3 hours of reading to realize that the information for how to get rid of my pain is not even there. 3 hour of my time is $120 Dollar mister Jesse Cannone .. While it may be true that many of the products you can buy through this book may help you, this book itself is a waste of time - I don't understand why they put themselves into a position where they will alienate so many of their readers by offering page after page of advertisements and calling it a cure - don't waste your money on the shipping fee - this left a bad taste for the whole website

Don't waste your money to advertise the products offered by the author,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I am so disappointed I wasted my time reading the first half of the book. When I started reading the second half which deals with the "cure" of your back pain, I realized the author is just trying to sell you his products. Don't waste your money.

A Rip-Off,

Beware if you order this "free" book off of Cannone's website, as I got stuck with a $20 subscription to his back pain "newsletter" which they refused to credit when I called to say it was a mistake! I finally started reading the book and was disgusted at the blatant commercialism and promotion of his own products. The positive reviews are obviously by Cannone's flunkies!

Just a book-long ad for his $97 DVD,
By Shoshanna (New York, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The 7 Day Back Pain Cure (Kindle Edition)
I wasted hours reading this book only to discover at the end that the author doesn't tell you the exercises to do to treat muscle imbalance - he just leads up to tell you, over the course of 213 pages, that you need to buy his DVD for $97.
Here's the basics of the book, which can be summed up easily: 1. Back pain is caused by muscle imbalance (which makes sense, but I was hoping he'd explain how to fix it in the actual book!) 2. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins (and take enzymes, which he also sells for $49 a bottle) 3. Emotional stress can cause back pain (I also believe this is true, however the book to read on that is Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection by John E. Sarno MD. That's the also the only reference this author gives) Don't buy this book. If you absolutely must waste hours of time reading it, then the author actually gives it away as a free download on his website if you sign up for his newsletter. His site is [...]. As you can see, it's very gimmicky and all about the hard sell. *Sigh*

good overview,
This review is from: The 7-Day Back Pain Cure: How Thousands of People Got Relief Without Doctors, Drugs, or Surgery (Paperback)
I am an acupuncturist who makes a living treating back pain. I have also followed Jesse's stuff for a year or two and he truly is an expert on back pain. This book is a good overview of the causes and treatments of back pain. It is very useful for the average layperson to understand what is going on. However you will not find the "nuts and bolts" of solving your back pain here, you would need to buy more of Jesse's other products (which look good to me). Also, I think he lumps all acupuncturists into one category and I believe there are two distinct types: the ones who believe in an invisible mystical energy that science can't find(yet?)and the ones who are musculo-skeletal based. To treat back pain the musculo-skeletal types are best. For true Disc type of back pain, McKenzie's books can be useful, here's one, Treat Your Own Back and include the nuts and bolts of that treatment. But as Jesse explains well in his book this is only one (the minority possibly) cause of back pain.

And the Cure Is...Buy My Products!,

If you insist on reading this book, don't buy it here. Go to the website lose the back pain dot com. But don't do the deal where you pay $5.99 shipping. Go through checkout, but then cancel. Don't pay ANYTHING for this book. Wait a week, and the author will send you an email giving you the PDF for free. Then don't print it out. Don't waste paper. Skim through it, and you will see that this book has at least two ads (he uses links, but they're ads) per page, usually three, for his products. No real information, just links to buy his products.
This is an advertisement, not a book. There is NO INFORMATION HERE. This is a come-on to buy his very expensive "kit" to heal your back pain. Also his inversion table, his cream, his supplements, and a bunch of other crap you don't need and that probably doesn't work. If you have back pain and want exercises to help, I've successfully used Pete Egoscue's book Pain Free without having to buy any of his products. I thought I'd check out this book, but I won't buy any of this charlatan's products. This is a complete rip-off, not a book. Don't waste your money. And don't spend more money on his products; there are good products out there, but why would you trust this guy when his "book" is nothing but a rip-off to sell you crap?

Relieved my back pain!,

This review is from: The 7-Day Back Pain Cure: How Thousands of People Got Relief Without Doctors, Drugs, or Surgery (Paperback)
I wish that I had found this book earlier. It has helped me more than the pain management doctor. I really did not want to manage the pain - I wanted rid of it and wanted to get back to my normal activities. The exercises have helped greatly.I am pleased with my progress and continue to exercise, watch what I eat and take NO pain medicines. I did buy an inversion table and the large ball. Did I have doubts whether they were of value? Yes. But time has proven that they do indeed make my back more flexible and stronger. I now walk comfortably about a mile every morning which I could not do when I first began. Thanks for getting the informaiton to me.

This book is basically an promotional item to lure buyers to buy the different products sold on the authors website. There is no concrete help or solutions contained in this book. It is now offered free on the website (plus $8.00 s&h)
