I want to like this little app more, but I find it difficult to use. There is no index to easily find a tip I would like to look up. At least I couldn't find one. A lack of an index is the major reasoning for my "3 star" rating.

Also, since Amazon's recent site changes, some of the tips relating to the Amazon Kindle site pages/features are inaccurate now. It would be nice if an individual user could easily edit the already provided tips on his or her Kindle either to fix these errors, or to make them more understandable, as I found some tips worded oddly. Yes, I know I can add my own tips, but I'd also like to edit the ones already provided.

I found this book to be extremely helpful. There wasn't alot of reading, it just gets right down to the tips. As you are reading you can easily save the ones you find useful to a "favorites" file, then easily refer back to them. I would definitely recommend this, especially for someone like me who doesn't want alot of explaination, JUST GIVE ME THE INFORMATION I NEED!

This app has good potential especially for new Kindle users. Viewing the pre-loaded tips was easy. It covers the basics and includes some user submitted tips (and giving them credit). Even as an experienced Kindle user I found a couple useful tips.

UPDATE: I previously mentioned a problem with my Kindle freezing. This problem has been fixed. It was a problem with my Kindle and not the app. Kindle Customer Service solved my Kindle problem in minutes. The app developer also followed up to make sure and I was able to tell them that it was not the app. After fixing the Kindle problem the app works flawlessly when adding my own tips.

First, I must confess I have not read the entire book. I treat it like a bowl of candy and read a tip or two every day or so. Some have been intreresting tidbits I did not know, others were familiar. Still, you never know when you'll find something that becomes indispensable.

All the tips mentioned in the app are of a very basic nature. If you consider yourself an intermediate or advanced Kindle user, don't expect to see anything interesting here. Actually I would only recommend this for someone who has recently bought a Kindle and is trying to get used to its features and operation.
I have done some serious hacking to my device (from enabling ssh access, installing launchpad and numerous scripts -like one enabling the microphone to take voicenotes- to dual-booting with Duokan and many things in between). I expected to find at least some useful tips here, but I already knew all of them. And some are really pretty basic stuff.

So, yes, I'm hugely disappointed with this.
