The best of....the hits from Grits,
By M.K. (Norfolk, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 7 (Audio CD)
Teron "Bonafide" Carter and Stacy "Coffee" Jones, better known as Grits, has proven time and time again to be one of Christian and Gospel music's most prominent and energy-filled duos. Considered to be one of Gotee Records' cornerstone artists (along with fellow former Gotee girl group, Out of Eden), they continue to reach audiences worldwide with their Southern-styled raps. Some of their music has been featured on TV shows and major motion pictures like MTV's Pimp My Ride, Cribs and Big Momma's House 2, starring Martin Lawrence and Nia Long. 7 is a testament of how this duo has evolved over their 10+ years. Some guest artists includes TobyMac (Gotee co-president) (Ooh aah (Liquid Beats remix), Lisa Kimmey of Out of Eden (new recording, Time to Pray), Pettidee (I Be), IZ (Jay Mumbles Mega Mix), Antonio Phelon (Lovechild), Syntyst (Hittin' Curves) and Jason Eskridge (new recording, I Try). It needed some more songs from both Dichotomy A & B. With the future looking more promising with their own production company, 5E Entertainment, and new artist, Catherine "Catt" Gallop, signed to the roster, Grits continues to give the Lord all praises due. Continue success.

I've only removed the CD from my car to rip to my computers...Eventhough its a few years old, the sound is flesher than anything out today.
