We ordered this camera to replace an older b&w unit on our motorhome. Works beautifully so far. Nice large color screen. Perfect for our needs. Hope it will hold up on our cross county trips! My husband did the install with no issues. Nice field of view. Our motor home is 31' long. Had plenty of wire for the install.

UPDATE: We were only able to use this product for about three camping trips, just 9 months before the monitor failed. Contacted sellar and while they were nice, no help at all. Warranty was only 6 months. We had to purchase a whole new system since we found out that this system did not have "standard" connections and could not find a comparable monitor. Wasted $140. Don't buy.

I too, am a sucker. I bought this unit after looking at several chinese built but actually the same thing monitors and just like the previous reviewer was thinking you would get what was pictured. The unit comes with one 66' cable for the rear camera, which is just what I wanted for my motorhome, along with a second camera for the blind spot. The second camera would then connect to the control box with about a foot long cable, not hardly long enough to do anything with except put it on the dash. Being the problem solver that I am, I figured I would just go on down to Radio Shack and pick up another cable. Not only did I try the Shack, but a couple of security system dealers as well. That's when I found that the connector is OEM or Original Equipment Manufacturer and would have to be purchased through the manufacturer. It is a shame because it looks well built. I temporarily hooked it up and the picture quality is really good. I tried to find Esky's website, but apparently there is none unless you want a remote control helicopter. I contacted Amazon, they sent me an E-mail saying the distributor would contact me within 24 hours. I also reported the pictures of the product being mis-leading, as several of the thumbnails clearly show 2 long cables. I'm sure that I can get a refund but I'll probably get stuck for the expedited shipping. Also, there was no warranty registration nor did I get a receipt for the purchase. In all reality, I would have given this a 4 or 5 star rating if I wouldn't have had to spend so much time trying to find a solution. UPDATE 8/10. The supplier E-mailed me just like Amazon said. They take no responsibility and put it back on Amazon, who thinks it is OK to have misrepresented photos of products, which BTW you cannot respond to their messages. This thing is going back and I'll never buy from Amazon again!

I bought this system to use as a back up camera for my box truck, then use the second camera as a blind spot camera. Reading the reviews I knew I would have little in the way of instructions, and I wasn't disappointed, the instructions were pitiful. The wires are all labeled "GROUND", "POWER" AND "REVERSE" So with only 3 wires clearly labeled how difficult could it be. Physically mounting and running wires is more of a challenge. When I tested the system before installation I hooked up the "Ground" and "Power" wires only (didn't hook up the "Reverse wire) and both cameras worked all the time which is exactly what I wanted. I can toggle between the two cameras as needed.

I was very impressed with the picture quality (day and night). The large screen size is great. What I did is to mount both cameras on the top of the box one dead center the other on the far right. I aimed the center camera almost straight down, I did this so I can see my rear roll up door (to be sure it's closed) then I can see about 5 feet beyond the rear of my truck. The other camera picks up from there. Having to parallel park this vehicle in the city was a two man job, now it's a snap. Nice Product!

We bought this system for our mini motor-home (a Toyota Dolphin) as the rear window is pretty much useless for seeing whats behind you while driving. I installed one camera inside the motor-home looking out the rear window. I thought that was a great idea- the camera would be inside, out of the elements, and almost out of sight. During the day it worked perfectly- at night however, the infrared lights reflected on the glass, rendering the night vision useless. Will relocate that camera to outside the coach.
The second camera was installed on the passengers side mirror support to eliminate the blind spot there. That camera had a stripped locking ring that connects the video cable on the camera to the 66 ft extension cable. After a couple of e-mails to customer service explaining the problem, I received a brand new camera. The customer service department is excellent- they always answered e-mails the same day I sent them! Other companies can learn a lot from these people.Once the new camera was installed the system works great- nice, wide viewing angle behind and to the side, sharp, clear image in the monitor, and the infrared works very well.
It was hard to find room on the dashboard or console for the monitor, so I spun the rear-view mirror around 180 degrees and screwed the mount for the monitor to the back of the mirror. Now the monitor is right where you would expect the rear-view mirror to be.
We are very happy with the system and would recommend it to anyone.
