CONSISTENTLY GOOD ALBUM RIGHT THROUGH,

For me the better tracks on this album are "Do your thing","Learn to love" and "Just a memory" but all the tracks on this album are good.I read on a web page that had information about Mariah Carey and her Crave label (the label that signed 7 mile for this album) that was scrapped not long ago that 7 Mile's album had "moderate success" in America but "failed to break into the overseas market".I thought this was a bit of a laugh because artists like 7 Mile aren't even promoted outside of America. This group has excellent vocal abilities and I could quite easily see them being a success with acapella songs. I look forward to any future releases by 7 Mile

My name is Kenny Mac and I own DUB-CO entertainment in Detroit. I am also the cousin of Deon Lucas a member of 7 Mile. I have only known the other members since the group formed. I remember Deon singing as a child, and we would rap to his vocals. He was always an excellent, strong vocalist. The 7 MILE album is full of love and enjoyment. It's not nasty or sexual, but its filled with God spirtual sounds and love. I have heard their second album. It's in its final completions. The album (Not Yet Titled) is "OFF THE HOOK". Congradulations and Much Success to 7 Mile. For those who dont have the album its a collectors item.

I think the group 7 Mile are great new artists. When I first heard their single "Do your Thing" on The Box I fell in love with the foursomes wonderfully exotic ans soothing voices. I new that I had to go out and buy their album, but it wasn't out yet. So I searched every store for about 2 weeks until I stumbled upon it at Best Buy one day as I was browsing the CD section. Ever since then I have been in pure heaven. I even allow 7 Mile to sing me to sleep every night. I love 7 Mile and I feel we need more artist like 7 mile instead of all that trendy fast paced music which leaves nothing to the imagination.

I LOVE this album. It's a shame what happened to 7 Mile. All these guys are super talented singers, and I've wondered why none of them has reappeared in the music industry (at least at a "popular" level). This album is nearly ten years old, but I still listen to it all the time. The vocals, the lyrics, the melodies... 7 Mile stood out from all the other R&B groups out there. This is definitely one of those hidden gems. You won't be disappointed.

This group is a hit! They are smooth, sensual yet tasteful and mellow. I've listened to R&B for many years and this group has class. They will one day top the charts!

Just Plain Smooth,

7 Mile starts Mariah's label off on the right foot. To be sure, ballads are this group's forte, but they hold their own on "Just A Memory". "After" and "Can I Come Over" will have you calling your girlfriend for a romantic evening. "I Love You (Interlude)" should have been a full length single...the harmony is just too beautiful. Looks for these gentlemen to provide more romance in the future.

This CD is full of heartfelt R&B grooves. From the uptempo "Just a Memory" to smooth "Do Your Thing" and the pretty ballad "After," written by label head Mariah Carey, 7 Mile shines as great new artists that will evenutally break through and become legends. Doing their hometown of Detroit proud, 7 Mile is an essential to any serious R&B fan.
